The food was yummy and delicious with reasonable prices. We always come back for more. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Food is amazing! I have eaten Chinese Everywhere and could eat it from this restaurant everyday.

We normally get takeaway but when we occasionally eat in and it's a really lovely experience. Staff are great and prices are reasonable.

Food was fine, nothing special. Need to employ more staff, as we had to wait at least 30 minutes for our main dishes and another 5 minutes for the rice. The staff were literally running around the restaurant - not very safe, and not great for the atmosphere. Value wasn't great - e.g. almost $16 for a tofu dish with only 5 small pieces of tofu and a lot of cheap green veggies, $5.80 for a lukewarm pot of water with a few tasteless tea leaves in it.

We got takeout from here and it was just great, portions were a good size, not huge but more than enough. Delicious honey prawns, big fan and will be returning when we're next in the area. Staff were really great.

This place has been around for years, and thought I'd try it (with 3 friends) since it's been refurbished. The restaurant looks much better, however, the food and service was most disappointing.

Our entrees took about 45 minutes to arrive. The sang choy bow inlcuded two lettuce leaf cups with a mouthful (or half) of meat! And they were $4 each! Our mains came out about 20 minutes later and it was all warm/cold except for the fried rice which was good.

The service was incredibly slow and noticed a few other tables were getting similarly frustrated. Luckily we had the entertainment card, so it didn't turn out too expensive. A real shame as it looks good from the outside!

Good, cheap, tasty, Chinese food. Eat-in or takeaway both better than the average. Nice menu selection, nice food, nice price.

After attending several restaurants in the “catchment area” of Hayden Orpheum Cinemas we discovered this place, after its renovations. It was very pleasant surprise. Subtle décor, soft carpets, attentive service without unnecessary intrusion.

The food was very good, fresh and tasty, with the generous servings, far better than usual Chinese restaurants. The unexpected bonus of this place and highly enjoyable aspect, it was blissfully quiet, so our conversation was not drown in the unwanted background music and the rattling of metal chairs and the stilettos on hard flooring. We just wish that would be more restaurants like this around. We will be back.

This is a real find for several reasons: it is newly renovated, it is quiet (carpeted, with no compulsory muzak), and has tasty, well priced meals. Added bonus is being just across from Cremorne Orpheum Cinema.

Must say that the service was considerate and attentive, food better than your average suburban Chinese and we could carry on a conversation without having to shout over restaurant noise, the latter being one of our priorities. Remember pre 90's? - this was the usual restaurant experience, not the noise bombardment we are forced to endure today.

We were treated to a complimentary port and will be back again after next movie at the Cremorne Orpheum, conveniently situated across the road.

Best Chinese takeout on the North Side. Fried rice is amazing. Fast delivery, even faster if you collect it. Doesn't look impressive and have never eaten in but they've never let us down on the takeout. Also the only Chinese we've found here (other than Imperial Peking at the Rocks) that do mermaid's tresses and they're great!

There was absolutely no one there when we went on a Monday night but that didn't matter. The food was fresh and delish and the staff were very friendly. Sure the fitout of the place makes you feel like you've gone back a good 25 years or more but who cares if the food is good right? Great tasting asian food. I'd definitely go back!
