Small but intimate. Food is fresh and delicious. Lucky we got in early as the restaurant filled quickly. Everyone was having a great time. The waitress greeted everyone by their first name (except us of course being our first time, Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and particularly the calf's liver Venito style.

Had dinner here last night with friends. The previous comments about the standard of service are right, the stafff really go out of their way to make the evening as enjoyable as possible. Some of us had the scampi, which was lovely though thought, perhaps, a little undercooked, just a personal thing.

Duck with figs (I don't normally like figs) was delicious and I'm told that the fish was perfectly cooked by my picky husband. My only disappointment was the cheese plate, not that exciting, again a personal thing. My only criticism is that the restaurant is very noisy, perhaps, the sound of too many patrons having too good a time!

In the last month I have enjoyed Friday lunch and two dinners here, each time with different friends but each time it was unanimous - Fabulous Italian food and impeccable but friendly service.

My favorite dish was one of their specials, lightly dusted prawns served with an avocado salsa with just the right amount of chilli. The serving sizes are unbelievably generous and the waitstaff knowledgeable with both the menu and wine list. This is definitely the best restaurant in Mosman.

I've only been twice in a year, but for Mosman, this place really punches above its weight. While relatively traditional, the recipes have a modernity - really fresh ingredients combined with a deft touch. It reminds me of suburban A Tavola. Another great thing is the staff seem to also appreciate their patrons may actually know about food and wine engage at that level. It deserves to succeed.

We have eaten here a couple of times now and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience both times, lovely food, good portion sizes, friendly service and reasonably priced. Nice little find in Mosman.

We went here on a Saturday night with a booking for 7.30 pm. We had pre ordered the standing rib roast over 3 weeks previous as is suggested so only four main courses were newly ordered. We did not receive our main courses until 9.45 pm. Considering that most of the meal had been pre ordered we were extremely unhappy. We had to phone down to the restaurant (we were in a room upstairs) at least twice to request service.

The waiter was unhelpful and when we requested dessert wine glasses we were told that the white wine glasses were dessert wine glasses. He also told us that the italian restaurant had run out of dessert pizzettas instead of telling us the truth that the chef was finished for the night (by this time it was 10.45). Although the food was good, we will not be returning due to the poor service and poor coordination from the kitchen.

Response from Management:
We feel that it is important that customers share experiences - what they consider both good and bad, as long as they are constructive and truthful comments. Yes your booking was at 7.30pm for 10 people, however not all of your party arrived on time.  In relation to your meals, you did receive your entrees in a timely manner and in relation to your mains, just because they were preordered, they do still need to be cooked!  

Yes you did call the restaurant twice - have no idea why as your waiter had just left your table both times!  When you requested dessert wine glasses you were given what we use at our restaurant as dessert wines glasses, Riedel actually refers to them as dessert wine glasses as well!  In relation to the dessert pizzas - you were told the truth, we had actually sold out of them, if our chef had finished for the night, who do you think served you the desserts you received??? Our chef, was still here long after you walked out the door.

An amazing restaurant. I've spent 3 evenings here and I have been impressed every time. The food is simply beautiful, the Vitello Funghi had me wanting to lick the last of the sauce from the plate. Helpful staff who are friendly and attentive without being over the top. Plus a few great wines tucked away once the BYO ran dry.

Our 30-40 age group A Table for Six members met over dinner here on Saturday night. All positive feedback from them on the restaurant. Here is what they had to say. "The atmosphere and food was great. We were the last to leave the restaurant." "Good food. The restaurant staff was attending well to us and the atmosphere was nice." "Venue was very good, food and service excellent." We'll definitely being sending more of our members here.
