Even after the renovation and new staff the food is not good. I eat indian food regularly through other places in dee why now we were a regular customer. We want to give another go after he has done some renovation but I have to throw the food away as it smells off and taste very bad. I don't know what is wrong. I will never go back again.

Not sure why this restaurant has such bad ratings? Every 3 months or so we go to this place for take away, their food is great and excellent value! We have the banquet for 2 usually which is only $50 odd and it lasts us for 2 nights and we aren't small eaters.

It consists of mixed entrees and 2 choices of meat curries and 1 vegetable curry, also comes with small dessert. We have eaten there once about a year ago. Service was friendly and since then every time we pick up our meals we get a nice smile and greeting, never feel unwelcome.

We go to D Y Indian because it's always consistently great food!

A lot has changed since it was sold a couple years ago. Now the food is disgusting, the service is on the sour-side and the cutely-intimate feel has been replaced with utter discomfort. Luckily enough I found the previous owners now run an Italian restaurant in Frenchs Forest called Amore Mio which is to die for, as well as the Saini Emporium where they sell Indian food like they used to make!

Food was really awful. I think most people agree as everytime I pass this place you are lucky if there are two people in there.

It used to be our favourite Indian around, now it has changed hands and really is not that good anymore. The service isn't that great either seeing I ordered a take away and didn't get all of it. They had to come back with the rest of it.

This place has recently changed hands. Before it was excellent and in my view the best value curry around. With the change of hands the food is not upto the standard. We recently ordered a Friday takeaway and neither of us could eat the meat due to its mankyness (we used to order every week). Avoid, thats what were doing from now on.
