I have dinned there with friends the service is appalling they are siesta sort of staff the music is very loud make it hard to have any conversation, over all the experience is not to repeat it sorry.

Lets get this straight. You don't go here for the fancy food, wine list and amazing service. You go to experience old school good times. On a saturday night, the place is packed with greeks. The music is loud, the dancing and signing is great fun and you can get a good feed along the way. Its basically a greek RSL, so drink prices are cheap and the food is cooked by real greeks. Something different, and good fun.

Went on Sunday night for dinner. When I booked I was not told it was a set menu. Had to go and find someone to take our order. Very unimpressed, however, my family and I decided to give it a go. Out came the platter of mixed grill and seafood. Nice calamari but no lamb souvlaki. Disgraceful! Which Greek/Cyprian place you know of has no lamb souvlaki on a $150 platter. The greek salad and tzatziki were good but the taramosalata and bread were terrible. The only minor saving grace was the slight discount we got off the total bill, after many complaints. Never again.

Step back into time with a visit to this community club. You walk through the pokie area; you do what the members do and stick your head into the kitchen to request a menu. Greek home style cooking, simple, no doubt what they've been doing for 50 years. We had a meat/seafood platter for 2, $40, which was excellent. Had some souvlaki, pork and lamb chops, and couple of oysters, 2 x blue swimmer crabs, calamari and chips. Side salad at $7 was something to behold, with the biggest slab of fetta lobbed on top, all smothered in a bucket of dressing.

Service from a waiter who appears to be here since judgement day left us giggling. It was strangely compelling - appropriately appalling, as if we were an annoyance having the hide to go there to actually eat. Sure will go again.
