Well, I don't know what all these diners are talking about, when they mention bad service, awful food and steep prices. I have dined at Curry Lovers with friends and family over 20 times and have never been disappointed. The butter chicken, madras beef and vegetable korma are big hits! Plus you can't go wrong with the tasty somosas and side dish platter.
I went there with a group twice in a month. Food was good on first time but the second visit was a nightmare. Had to wait for the food for a long time and when I did got my food it was not the food I ordered. So I decided to eat what I was served but I will think twice before I go back to this place.
The food is really stale and seems to be reheated from leftovers on most of the days. The vegetable curries are absolutely atrocious. Eaters are better off eating from the supermarket RTE Indian meals than going to this restaurant.
Overall, an enjoyable experience at the restaurant. The food was great, the ambience within the restaurant somewhat pleasant, with some slight downfalls from the service perspective. There was a lack of "homely" feel about the restaurant, and the request for crayons of Sanjay (for colouring on the paper table cover) was not well received.
Not the best Indian I've ever had but as a smoker it's fantastic that they have properly covered outdoor seating. We go there with groups of friends and take over the balcony. BYO and not bad prices!
The food is the worst thing about this restaurant. I had the fish curry - the fish was hard and chewy and the sauce tasted like it was straight from a jar. My husband's dish was something completely different but looked exactly the same (and didn't taste too much different either!).
This is one of my favourite restaurants!! Everytime I go I leave feeling full and satisfied. I have only positives to say about Curry Lovers apart from their service. The staff need to be a little more attentive but apart from that it's a great restaurant for a casual dinner with friends and family.
