We loved this place. Family atmosphere, great food. Wish they had a restaurant in Alaska, we would eat there once a week. Maybe we'll move to Sydney.

The food here is great! Pity there's not a full serving per meal. We order from here regularly, being local, but I think tonight will be the last time. The food is great, no complaints. When I order 'fish masala" I'd like to get fish masala. Instead I got a container 75% full of salad and 25% of what I ordered. I feel ripped off and think other people need to know.

We spent only four nights in Sydney and still ate here twice! The first time we just happened to pass, the second time we came back especially and I'm not even a big fan of Indian food.

We live in London, so we've had our fair share of currys, but we both agreed that the food here was the best Indian food we've had. The decor is not fancy, but practical (and the eco toilet is ever so clever!) and the prices are affordable. Service was great and all staff were very friendly and helpful.

Having read the reviews below I was a bit worried! But we went anyway and have to say it was pretty good. It's more of a cheap and cheerful option with quick service, in and out in an hour type place. So as long as thats what you're expecting you'll probably think it's quite good. We had chicken madras and lamb rogan josh and they were both pretty good if not sublime. The papadams and naan etc all good. Give it a go.

The food here is variable. We have been a few times. The first time the food was bland, the second time very good. The last time was awful. The beef vindaloo and the palak paneer was far too salty and the beef was very fatty. The wine was definitely off. It came out of an opened bottle and the waitress was quite obliging and brought me a fresh glass. However, I won't ever be going back because their food is not consistently good.

Food is nice, we love a good curry, and a kingfisher beer to wash it down hahaha. The decor is basic and we like that casual look, we do not have to dress up and the staff always make us feel welccome.

Ate here a while back. Lunch, I'd rate it as middling. The food wasn't great. The place wasn't nicely done up. Considering where it is (no view/sort of hard to get to), why is this reviewing as well as it is.

Visited this restaurant after reading the reviews, was awful. The food was not fresh and the curry had a stale smell. The potatoes also had a strange smell. I guess the reviews are not genuine. Even the 1+1 free offer is not worth it at all. We were better off going to the restaurant just down the lane. Better lesson for us next time instead of going for cheap bargains.

We love this restaurant and eat here on a very regular basis. The food is always freshly cooked and the flavours authentic and wonderful. The owner and waitstaff are always very helpful and friendly. Value for money ~ you can't beat this restaurant, I would recommend to anyone!

Love this place. Went here for dinner tonight and was very pleased. Staff seated us promptly and gave us menus and took drink orders. The menu selection is pretty varied (mixing traditional favourites with slightly newer 'trendier' meals). We had the vegetable korma which was perfectly nice, the beef biryani which was amazing nice (the beef cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing) and the mango chicken was again perfectly nice.

The main benefit this place has to offer is the prices. We paid just over $60 for three people (excluding wine) although they do offer a very reasonable wine list. Staff were helpful and friendly and gave us a free mini dessert. Definitely recommend this place for value and nice food.
