Try their mini cupcakes, terrible, the cake is dry and the icing is grainy like the sugar has not dissolve yet. Will go back to cupcakes on pitt next time!

The cupcakes are definitely the best in Sydney, I highly recommend their red velvet or molten chocolate with chocolate ganache! Yummmm. Staff is also very professional and helpful even when you need advise in baking your own cupcakes!

Never buy form the cupcake bakery. Cupcakes are dry, boxes doesn't fit properly with cupcakes destroyed after walking for 5 mins! Service is rubbish after u provide feedback re cupcakes bring dry, icing terribly oily and rubbish coffee.

This place is so stingy with the cream cheese frosting. I just bought another red velvet cupcake from there and it has half the frosting it should have. Not happy! might have to walk up to their george st store instead to get my red velvet fix!

I have been to the george st one quite a few times (helps when you work close by). I know they bake everyday, and never sell the cakes over a day old.
Sometimes the cakes can be very dry, but mostly they are very good. I find the icing is amazing! And it always seems consistently good. The maxi cake was very burnt around the edges. I phoned the store and they said to email a picture to them. 2 emails later and no reply! That was a down fall for me!

It was hard to walk past this place without taking a look, the store looks very well presented, clean and filled with the most amazing looking cakes! The service was nice and friendly, offering suggestions and having smiles on their faces. The cakes, unfortunately, for me, are a bit too creamy and have very little hint of flavour. On the plus side, however, good value for money in terms of the portion sizes.

OMG had a red velvet and hummingbird cupcake. They were the most delicious cupcakes I have ever had. The cream cheese frosting on top is to die for. Will definitely be a regular customer.

Those cupcakes have been melting in the sun. The icing looks heavy and and very oily. I bought one regardless. OMG it was the worst thing to touch my lips. I was right it was bad. I had to spit it out it was that terrible. Guys please go back to the drawing board, home economics classes required here.

BTW, get a barister for your coffee, next time I want dishwashing water I will make it myself and not pay $5.00 for milkly water, learn to make decent coffee!
    Disappointing.

I have walked by the george street store many times and have always wanted to try this one but didn't get to until the new store at QVB opened up and I noticed the red velvet cupcake. I was always interested in this flavour as I think its big the US?

Anyway, it had cream cheese icing which was very sweet but was balanced by the nice fluffy base. Priced at $3.50, I would think it is reasonable and I would go back to try their gourmet flavours.

Hi. I've been here a few times and twice the cupcakes were fantastic and twice they were terrible so I'm sure that helps. The difference between good and bad was the type of cupcake. The more expensive cupcakes like Tirimisu were amazing while your regular vanilla or chocolate was very average. They were dry and possibly not fresh.

I highly recommend getting the tirimisu, custard tumbler or lemon merangue. every time I've been they are perfect.
