Not the best food in Sydney but the fact that it's open late makes up for it. Certainly better fare than the 24-hour KFC near it. Expect service to be slow and kitchen backed up when it's busy. But great value though especially the "meal deals" - main+glass of wine.

This cafe was an absolute joke. We waited almost 45 minutes for a glass of wine which finally turned up after our meals. The wait staff do not even know anything about the food that is served there. When they mucked up my dinner order, they were not even going to fix it up. We then ordered cocktails which finally came to us another 45 mins after we ordered. Do not waste your money on this place.

The best feature is that it's open late however, I can empathise with other comments about the service. While my boyfriend's lamb was delicious, the recommended barramundi was dry and tasteless. Not the quality you would expect for the price but I guess that's the charge of getting a late night bite after a show in Sydney.

Even non-alcoholic drinks are very expensive. Definitely not worth over $5 to get a coffee during the day. Also service wasn't great. Staff were visibly annoyed because we chose the cheaper non-alcoholic drinks on the menu.

Lychee cooler was distinctly disappointing compared to others I've ingested but the wedges are actually to die for. Too many substandard wedges around, these were easily the best. $8 happy hour cocktails are still not "that" cheap.

Have been to Cube a couple of times and each time I found the services great!!! The cocktails were devine especially the Lychee Cooler and they have great coffees. And they have the best grilled chicken salad.

Been here once for lunch and once for dinner, both experiences have been good. Food is good and service was ok, although they don't seem the most organised bunch as the other reviewers have noted. Decent alternative when looking for somewhere right in the middle of the city. I recommend the Lamb Burger!

What the? How does a cafe of this reputation not only forget to place our order but when requested how our order was coming along we received a response of "it's another few minutes" to only be greeted finally by an apologetic duty manager that our order was lost!
Considering that we sat and waited for almost an hour to have dinner, to be faced with not only incompetent staff but dishonest staff? To set off the 'wonderful' experience, after the first 35 minutes after ordering and after two separate prods to waiters, our drinks came along.
The recompense was that we're told that the drinks wouldn't be charged... and that we could finish them before we left. Seriously?? While the lamb is a great feed, the service certainly left much more to be desired. Totally agree with the other reviewers, do not expect speedy service and certainly be a betting person because sometimes you won't even have your meal order taken!

Cube has some excellent food. The recent specials are a great value for money. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Definitely looking forward to going back.

Food was excellent (wedges, cakes and tea) but the service was disgusting. The waiter was so arrogant and didn't even get the drinks right. However, one waitress was well mannered.
