Pretty ordinary dim sum here, with choice of dishes pretty boring. We didn't even see bbq pork on a trolley! Far better options in the city.

I'm Chinese and love yumcha. Revisited since first review. Just rating the food: Good yumcha.
Same rating as before. Prawn siu mai and char siew so are highlights. Har gau and prawn toast are delicious. Fussy 6 year old loved the jook. Let down by daan taat which was not freshly made. Large variety of dim sum here, much better than Burwood yumcha!

Love love love yumcha here. There are many ratings for yumcha at other places, but no matter where I go I personally love the yumcha here! Good selection, nothing too fancy but has all the basics!

Having been to yum cha in the city and other suburbs often, we thought we check out this restaurant as we're near the suburb. However, it was a very disappointing affair.
Some of the steamed dumplings we had were quite mushy, seems like they were overcooked?
We also tried the steamed black pepper beef but it turned out rather tough and bland.
The other few dishes we tried, such as tendon, and "siew mai" were OK, but nothing outstanding. The ambience was OK, not too noisy and service was prompt. Luckily, the dim sums weren't too expensive, it cost both of us a total of less than $50, which was OK. Perhaps we're unlucky in choosing our dishes as the restaurant seems popular but we will not bother giving it a second try.

We go to yum cha in hurstville imperial peking which costs us 70 for 4 people and we walk out very full and satisfied, it cost us 110 here so pricing is a bit higher, also the cards don't have prices which is a bit annoying as you don't wanna ask each time you get something. Food was ok but way over priced, will be going back to hurstville for that extra 50 savings even if its a bit further!

Good variety, always busy and the food is good too. The service is okay considering how busy they normally are for Yum Cha. It's a close to home alternative to going out to the city for Yum Cha. We had 3 people in our group and it set us back around $60 with a couple of drinks. Can't say much about ambience as it was noisy and very busy. But then again, all the Yum Cha places I have been to were much the same for ambience. If you live close by, I think it is definitely worth a try.

We enjoyed Yum Cha on a Sunday and this place is well worth a visit if you are in the area. Although it is very busy with walk-ins you can make a booking. You are not guaranteed a table at the allotted time, but you will get bumped up the list when you do turn up.
We enjoyed a huge variety of dishes, mostly the seafood offerings and it was all very good and quite well laden with seafood fillings. We also sampled a beef stirfry off their standard menu and it was tender and the vegetables fresh and crisp. The steamed spinach was a bit below par for mine, however, some of the other vegetable dishes, particular the vegetable steamed dim sums were great.
About the only thing that I found odd was that our quite large table for nine people did not have a lazy susan! Physically passing a plethora of dishes around without the spinning table top detracted from the experience so they lose a point on ambience there!
The staff were generally friendly with some notable standouts amongst some of the male waiting staff. If you want something, in particular, like forks or jugs of water or a even order off the normal menu, take my advice and ask a male staff member. The female staff, while friendly enough, seem to be a bit lost if they aren't stamping your card or hanging around to see how much tip you will leave when they bring your change.
We had a cake to celebrate a birthday and the restaurant were happy to supply us with the associated plates and cutlery and brought out the cake all lit up for a happy birthday song. They even re wrapped the left over cake in its original box to take home. All up a good experience for us and we will return another visit some time.
Btw the best place to park is the Strathfield Plaza Car Park as the restaurant is located on the outside of the main shopping centre there. 3 hour free parking and the car park entry was right next door to the restaurant so very convenient. Enjoy.

Yum cha here is delicious, sure you can sometimes be caught waiting a while to be seated if you are not early, but I think its worth it! Best dishes are the dumplings and rice noodle pancakes. Only thing that annoys me is their constant spruiking of fried foods/noodles. If I said no 5 times already, chances are I don't want any.
Mango pancakes are a delicious way to end the meal also.

This Restaurant has changed since the last time I had visited, It looks very stunning on the outside but still the same on the inside though with minor changes. I come here every year with relatives on birthdays and the service is very good but sometimes the pace at which they served the food was sometimes too quick for me and I couldn't enjoy the dish that I had already begun eating.
Overall I think that the price is somewhat in between but somewhat overpriced at the same time. But I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
