I just waited an hour and five minutes for my pizza to be delivered. It's not even Friday night. The food's good but stuffed if I'm going to continue waiting that long for it. Hire more staff or lose my custom!
Tasty pizza, love the peri peri chicken and the roast potato and pumpkin. The heart tick pizzas are good too. Probably a little pricey though, and always take longer than they tell you.
A little bit pricey when you compare to other pizza places, but it is worth it as you can tell all ingredients are fresh and the pizza's are so tasty. Worth it in the end when comparing with others. My favourite is the Italian sausage calzone with added mushrooms -Yummo! Keep up the good work Tezza and crew.
This must be the most incompetent pizza place I have come across. I have tried them 3 times and all occasions they have stuffed up.
1. First time I used them they rang me back 15 mins later to tell me that my pizza was going to be delayed a further 20 minutes as they were still defrosting the meat. I told them I wasn't interested and cancelled my order. Then a staff called me back to say that it was only going to be ready in 10 mins and that they don't have freezers on the premises as it's all fresh meat. I decided to turn up to find out what was going on and to see the meat still defrosting and for someone to then tell me that they do have freezers. Geez do the people that work there actually know where the meat comes from?
2. Thought I'd try them again. Ordered 2 pizzas. When I went to pick them up they only remembered to make 1. So they can't read either.
3. Well third attempt I did not really want to go there but only because Cyclopes was closed on a Monday. Ordered 2 pizzas. Went to pick them up to find out they gave them away to another customer. Honestly who do these people employ.
Three words you have to know, New Jersey Pizza. Found these guys by chance after we got their menu, had the Springbok and a Seafood pizza that weighed at least 5kg (seriously.....).
Sorry but things got a little crusty out here recently if you know what I mean, get onto these other local guys New Jersey Pizza down in Marrickville, blow out value and food, talk about cheap 2 large pizzas and a mega fresh Caesar covered in chook was under $45 delivered, C`mon support these guys please we are serious they are awesome and friendly too.
While I wouldn't rave about this pizza, it is above average for gourmet pizzas. The toppings are generous and the base thin and crisp. Delivery service and price are about average for this type of product. Nothing to rave about and nothing to complain about.
What makes them gourmet is just the quality of the toppings they use. Fresh ingredients, nothing packaged and flavours you can actually taste. If you need something delivered this would be an ok choice but I wouldn't make a big deal about it
Really, really good pizza.... I mean really good, we can’t go back to chain store pizza now and Crust was a weekend ritual at one stage. The prices they charge can be seen in the pizza and the service, Crust always tastes fresh, this base is always great and they are always happy to alternate toppings (not that you need to as they have some great choices).
It’s worth every cent and the long wait you sometimes get during rush hour. We have only ever had one negative experience with the service, when our pizzas hadn’t come after over 2 hours we rang, they apologized and they sent us new pizzas within 20 minutes for free and gave us full credit on what the pizzas would have cost us for next time. We ended up being pretty happy as we had spent almost $90 on pizzas for a party that night and once the pizzas got there, nobody minded the wait and everyone raved about it.
Our favs are the Mexican, margarita and the vegetarian selection, they also do a pretty good calzone and the salads are ok but obviously not their focus. My only complaint is that I wish they had garlic bread and they need to open a store in Newtown!
