We ordered pizza here for the first time, the operator advised will be ready in 15 mins. As soon as we got there, the pizza was ready which is good. Once we got home and started to eat the pizza, the base was chewy, not a firm crispy base. The toppings were ok but definitely not worth $20 a pizza. Won't be back in a hurry.
It's a shame that it took so long to have a pizza delivered to us. We were told it would take 45 mins or less and our pizza arrived an hour and a half later! The pizza topping was nice as was the tomato sauce but the crust had gone soggy and was too 'bready' for my liking. So our pizza was kinda average but we were close to starving at that stage so we ate it anyway!
After an hour, we'd called to ask how much longer the pizza would be, the phone operator was rude and impatient and after replying "Any minute now!", literally hung up on me! Need to work on those customer service skills!
I've had pizza's from here a few times. The new owners seem to have the place running a lot better with the pizza hot, on time and delicious even though it was on a busy friday night. Would highly recommend it to anyone!
I have picked up pizza at Crust few times and it was ok, even if the guys don't look too clean and the girls on the phone a bit rude. The delivery experience has been so disgraceful, we will never order again. It took forever to arrive, at least 40 minutes more than I was told. Pizza was cold, therefore disgusting.
Best Pizza ever!!! (and I have tried alot of Pizza in my time!). Try Four Cheeses or Mexicana - excellent!.....skip on Garlic Prawns, pretty dry and tasteless. The pizzas are always delivered hot and within 10 minutes of expected time. Ingredients always fresh and taste is amazing!
I won't be ordering from Crust again. Usually they're ok pizzas for an ok price. Last night they took 1.5 hours (I was told the wait was 1 hour) & when it arrived it was cold & one of the pizzas was squashed in the middle. I left feedback on the website but no one got back to me. Very annoyed.
We unfortunately won't be ordering any more Pizzas from Crust after the last debacle. We ordered it over the phone for pickup only living very close to it. When my partner went to pick the pizza up after 20 minutes as told and they hadn't put the order in as it was lost and this was 8.30 pm at night! The girl offered to another one but would be at least 30 minutes wait.
You would think if they stuffed up they would make that priority and get it cooked straight away and offer something complementary with it! nothing like that was done. The pizzas are nice but not worth that!
Awesome Pizza. The Peri Peri Chicken is my fave. Moroccan Lamb and Garlic King Prawns are also delightful. There's a new Crust store near my place in Neutral Bay and it regularly has a queue out the door. I've heard that the owner of 'Melt', who won the award in NYC for the world's best pizza, is a partner in this new venture.
Haven't tried the Annandale Crust but can highly recommend its counterpart in Double Bay. This scores very high with consistently good pizza with good quality ingredients. The gluten free pizzas are absolutely scrumptious. Seafood pizza also gets really high marks....and I don't normally like pizza! Deliveries are prompt.
