Occupying the southern end of the Overseas Passenger Terminal on Level two, Cruise Restaurant enjoys breathtaking views of Circular Quay and The Sydney Opera House, as well as the commanding skyline of the lower CBD. To compliment its prestige positioning, an interior scheme of elegant furnishings has been employed, maximising the outlook and providing surrounds that are the essence of contemporary comfort and modern sophistication.
The food philosophy is all about fresh, seasonal produce. Skillfully prepared to accentuate the natural flavours and work in harmony with the rest of the menu.
A split-level floor allows diners to enjoy this premier outlook from every table, which includes both freestanding, and banquette configurations. Cruise Restaurant has a maximum capacity of 60 diners, an ideal figure, which strikes just the right balance for contemporary dining with an appropriate level of intimacy. As an extension of the bar below, the colour palette of brilliant white, black and pale grey is carried throughout, while a splash of red adds to the warmth and intimacy. Glimpses of the kitchen provide an appealing additional buzz.

Had dinner with a friend by using the $29 for $70 dollars scoopon voucher. Awesome view with attentive service. The food were tasty. We ordered angus beef steak and fish fillet. Both dishes came out with crispy chips. The voucher deal was great discount. Enjoyed the ambience. Will def come back.

I was very disappointed. I expected more from a restaurant of this calibar. I went there for a work function where we were served 3 meals. I'm a vegan and I'm gluten intolerant. I sound difficult I know but this kitchen staff had 2 months to come to terms with that. The meals came very far apart. I was given 3 salads all up, for entree, main and dessert. I asked before hand if that would be enough and I was told yes. It wasn't.
The "main" consisted of a few deep fried zucchini flowers which despite 2 waiters telling me it was gluten free turned out not to be gluten free. Needless to say I was starving. Not only did I have to order a side of potatoes (as did the vegetarian next to me) but when we went for drinks at Cruise bar we had to order a few more bowls of chips because we were still so hungry. Even a cafe kitchen staff can cook a decent vegan risotto or vege stack!

Delicious Meal! We went with some good friends and were not sure what to expect as the restaurant has mixed reviews. However we had an excellent meal, we all had really good entrees and mains, however were disappointed by the dessert. Dessert was experimental and not enjoyable. The view is excellent, interior of restaurant was a bit "sterile" but comfortable and well worth dining there. A really enjoyable meal, we will definitely be back and can highly recommend.

Took an international visitor here on Saturday night. After making the booking a number of weeks ago and requesting a table with a view we were given a table by the windows but with the view blocked by a bit of wall. After much negotiating we managed to get a table with a view. (Interestingly, the restaurant wasn't even fully booked out).
The food was a little hit and miss but when they got it right it was fabulous. The rabbit and prunes for main is highly recommended, as is the chocolate dessert.
Unfortunately, the whole experience was let down by pretty appalling service for a place charging as much as it does. For example, after finally getting the attention of the waitstaff (who I think must have intensive training on how to look attentive whilst avoiding eye contact with patrons) I asked for the wine list to order another glass of wine.
It then took another 5 minutes to get their attention again so I could order the wine. They then brought me the wrong wine and when they finally brought the correct wine they proceeded to give it to someone else at the table. It is unlikely I will ever go back, the view is the only real drawcard and given the poor service I think I'd prefer to pay a little extra and go a couple of doors down to Doyles or Quay.

Had dinner here last Saturday and it was really lovely. Food was delicious, the views are superb, the dining room has a great feel and not very big. The only let down is that the wait staff are not very experienced for a venue of this caliber. They try very hard and are very polite just very green. Would definitely return given the opportunity.

Had our work Christmas party here last year. Food was pretty average. There was spatchcock & steaks. Nothing extraordinary. Decent wine selection. Lovely views which got blocked by a massive cruise liner. Just our luck! Waitstaff were accommodating. Over priced for the quality of food - you're really paying for the views!

We took up an offer from Time Out Sydney for this place and they were well prepared at the reception. It was pretty much a glass of wine with an amuse bouche, and a main.
It's all about the view here. There's nothing that can take away the fact the decor of this place makes me want to chuck back cheap cocktails and dance to 80's music. That's probably not fair to the establishment but it's just too kinda try-hard for me to want to dine here convincingly.
Go here for a pre-dinner drink or take your international visitors for a gasp at the harbour but the food it is not. I dread to think what rent they pay for this view.
Like 'lacortunata' said, they could do better. I shouldn't dig, but the toilets need negotiation, caveat emptor.

I really liked this place and went there for my girlfriend's birthday. The view is a sweeping expanse of circular quay and the opera house and is very special. The food was fantastic and well portioned. There was nothing left on the plate. The wine list is extensive and there are many many wines by the glass.
The service was excellent and very attentive without being intrusive. The waiters gave excellent assistance in choosing meals and wines. The total bill came to about $130 each but it was worth it considering we had 3 a-la-carte courses, a side dish, a bottle of wine, a bottle of sparkling water and a couple of cocktails.
Summary: This is a great restaurant for a special romantic evening. Don't let money be a spoiler otherwise you won't enjoy yourself.

I love this place. There is no where more stunning. I love the framed view, and the food is always good. I have vowed to have my engagement party here when some proposes. I adore this little gem. Location location location.

Wow! Was so impressed by this restaurant. Views are so beautiful, you feel like a millionaire as soon as you sit down. We went for lunch while on holidays in Sydney and went back the next night for dinner at twilight. Simply stunning. The food was to die for and cocktails went down a treat. We really liked the staff too, they remembered us and were even more fabulous on our second visit. Completely loved it and looking forward to going back. I'd highly recommend this for couples or anyone looking to impress.
