I'd be a little concerned if I were the owner of this cafe. I've had some lovely experiences here and some shockers. Mostly the food is great if overpriced. Coffee is very nice. They tend to sting you with additional costs which spoils an otherwise pleasant experience.

The majority of the staff are delightful, though a couple are just plain rude and nasty. I have taken a few friends there, since I work close by, but I've stopped doing that lately as there's increasing potential for embarrassment depending on who serves you. I suspect the owners are a little oblivious.

I rocked up to Cream for a late breaky on Saturday about 11:30ish. Normally I eat down the road in crowsnest but heard about Cream under new management and I'm very pleased I made the walk down food unreal! Killed the hang over. And the home made cakes! Yum! And the coffee definitely the best I've had around in a long time. Polite staff helped too, would recommend to anyone.

I recently visited this Cafe and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and prompt and the food (we went for lunch) was excellent. I have to rave about the freshly baked Friands, they were delicious.

After my worst ever cafe experience I was compelled to write this review and warn other potential visitors not to bother. The cafe is clearly run by young, unexperienced kids, who don't know anything about cafe service. It was 12 o'clock Saturday, the cafe was half full.

We were enticed by the menu items on the blackboard outside, and by the decor inside. But after placing our order we waited 20 minutes for our juice and coffee (should've trusted our instincts and gone somewhere else down the street) and another 10 for our food (which was mediocre as one reviewer has already described).

If the cafe was busy, if the food/coffee was half decent, this would've been forgivable. But I don't know how this business will survive when others in the game clearly understand that service should be attentive, drinks should be attended to immediately after taking the order, and food should be more than what you could whip up at home in 5 minutes. Never again!

Great to see Cream under new management and producing some of the best cafe food I've had on the North Shore. The haloumi burger is to die for and you can't go pass the home made caramel slice - So good.

Two of us often land at Cream for brunch on the weekends. They make good coffee and the large cappuccinos come in bowls, fantastic! This is a tiny little place that makes the most of its space by squeezing in tables for two, I wouldn't take a large group of friends there and it is unsuitable for prams. We often have the Cream breakfast which is always good and we've never had a problem with the service.

To be honest this place was a bit of a let down, I came in expecting good food and great service, I heard about this place from a friend, and even upon arriving I found the staff very appalling, somewhat careless and very slow, it took a little under an hour to even get my coffee and my meal was none the less mediocre. It was a huge let down, and I also noticed it's not very child friendly.

A word of friendly advice, in order to succeed in a small community you need to cater to everyones needs and that includes parents and children. Never again.

The service at this place gets worse and worse. Be prepared to wait an hour for a coffee. Shame because location is good. Big Fail and won't be back.

I really like this small local cafe/deli. I have only eaten in (rather than buying their deli food) but I have always found that they take care with their food and the coffee is really good. Service can be a bit vague, but it's a cafe, not fine dining.

I visited this deli and cafe for the first time today. I ordered some goats Cheese in a jar and some "fresh bread" as well as a rice paper wrap. When I got home, the goats cheese (in oil) had leaked from the jar and onto the bread. The problem was the the Goats Cheese was over one month past its expiry and totally rancid! In addition to that, the rice paper roll was dry and also inedible. When are businesses going to wake up to the fact that customers will not go to their businesses when they serve rotten food to customers. I will definitely not be back.
