I thought I was just being grumpy but reading this just confirmed my thoughts. While waiting for a table and was told we were second in line we were pushed back as other people arrived and was told they had a number but went on a walkabout. I have always enjoyed the wings but service is absolutely non existent.

The staff are unfriendly and one constantly have to ask for items like rice that were ordered. The honey wings are good but sadly the service leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

The skewers are actually quite decent. Perfect with beer and/ or cold drinks. Seems cheap, but does add up once you start ordering a whole bunch of different things.

The service is shocking though. The waiters huddle at the front, chit chatting away to one another with their backs facing the restaurant. You have to perform a dance routine to get their attention in this place. Also, it seems like 'regulars' can walk straight in and sit down at a table, even though there are people waiting to be seated. The waiters don't even bat an eyelid.

4 of us decided to wind down the working week over a few skewers at Crazy Wings in Chinatown. The restaurant is reputed for, well, chicken wings but also offers a variety of meat and vegetable skewers. Meat skewers are grilled to order and served on a central platter on the table.

There were 6 types of chicken wings to choose from, with honey soy my favourite. Overall the skewers were overly spiced and intensely savory. I supposed that helped the beverage sales, but certainly not our palates by the end of the night.

Took 50 minutes for my dinner partners meal (just eel rice) to arrive. Had to ask 3 times for the meal. No sorry, nothing. Waitress was very rude. No eye contact, more interested in chatting with her co workers than providing even average service. Absolutely disgusted. Never returning again and will spread the word of my experience to everyone I know.

Very average restaurant. Overpriced if you take in the lack of ambience, lack of service (non-English speakers, probably overseas students), and very average quality of the food. The grilled wings, despite being the name of their restaurant chain, was very average, dry and somewhat flavourless, and they were tiny! Other grilled items were of no better quality. The grilled eggplant was much worse, they were swimming in oil! This restaurant right next to Chinatown probably intends to appeal to people of an oriental background, and that's probably all that would go here.
