This is the worst buffet I ever had. Oyster not fresh, balmain bugs are Blue, prawns head are black, cooked food can tell is been reheated and heated, I only ate breads and chocolate cake! My friend recommended me and I took eight people there and felt so bad and I have to buy macdonald after for them as we are not full at all. I would never recommend anyone to go there. Star city is good price and Sheraton on the park for the quality food but not four point, I am furious.

There wasn't that much food varieties as I expected, but overall, I was satisfied with my dine here. The buffet area was being constantly replenished, and waiters were quick to take away your old plates before you returned back to your table.

The seafood area was 'ok' (though I would have given a better rating if they had cleaned the oysters properly). A couple of my favourites during my dine here was the crabs and creme brulee that I had as my finishing dessert.

Great buffet place to go for dinner.

We had the buffet dinner, which was a pretty handy selection of seafood, cold cuts, salads, couple of hot meal options and a multitude of desserts. We found the seafood nice and fresh, the curry on offer with quite a deal of flavour and heat. Strangely, there was no plain rice on show for the curry, but when we enquired we were promptly served a bowl to share by the chef. As far as buffets go, which as a rule we tend to avoid, it wasn't too bad at all.

Came here on a tuesday night. The moreton bay bugs and prawns were a bit tough, like they were frozen and defrosted a few times.

Not impressed with the thai green curry. Definitely strange with the shredded chicken and no where near authentic! The basa was pretty awful too. The semi dried tomato pasta was nice though. I did like the anti pesto and cheese bar.
The chili? pepper? chocolate mousse was weird and the cakes were a bit dry.
However, the food I guess is okay. Seeing as it is all you can eat.

I've tried a Friday buffet lunch and dinner. The lunch was far better! More fresh, better cooked hot dishes, more desserts. I was surprised it was that different in quality. There is ice cream at night and none in the day time but this wasn't enough for the price difference. Seafood was much the same.

Salads, hot dishes were delicious, seafood as normal cold unseasoned choices for you to spice up. Creamy spinach pasta was excellent. Desserts were fine, carrot cake was yum. Really liked the olive oil and bread section with antipasto choices.

Overall was fine for our Viva card experience where we only had to pay 50%. So for $30 per person for lunch it was an enjoyable delicious experience.

Would I go back? Probably not for $60 per person. I might be willing to pay extra for the $42 Icons lunch buffet with a flambe station if you don't want alot of seafood or better still, the Botanica Brasserie whilst the Viva card offer is on, would be attractive too.

I had a buffet dinner here on Friday night with friends. Nice seafood, not a huge variety though. The desserts are nothing special, some of them tasted actually like leftovers from previous day. The staff is polite and fast, but only young asians working there and this place is not a chinese but an international restaurant.
Carefully check the bill! When we finished they wanted to overcharge us with 6 extra soft drinks! When we questioned those items they didn't even say sorry, just mumbled something about accidentally pusing the button (but 6 times?).
Anyway, go there only if it's on special and double check your bill!

I used to come here regularly over the last few years and have watched the quality of food and service diminish dramatically over this time. It was quite disappointing, however, my family and I decided that we would try the place on last time.

At first site of walking into the restaurant I noticed drastic changes to the buffet, food looked fresh as it should be, seafood was in abundance, efficiency of service has also improved. I was extremely impressed at number of positive chnages made to the offering!

I queried one of the waitstaff about these changes and I was advised that there is now new executive chef, F&B manager and GM, which explains all the change.
Keep up the good work and I will definitely be back!

Terrible terrible terrible. Don't waste your money. For a top class hotel the food they offered was really poor. I don't think they employ a chef. A very basic seafood banquet, and not much else to go with it. One soup with bread and cheese. A plate of raw tuna, quite nice. A plate of sushi that was very dry and stale. And only a few other hot dishes but nothing exciting, carrots with capsicum, coconut rice, chicken winglets, calamri salad. I couldn't eat the roast lamb as it was too tough! As for the desserts - they were disgusting. They could of all have been brought from woolworths or coles. Definitely no pastry chef employed at this hotel. Spend your money better and go to your local club buffet - it will cost you a lot less for better quality. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Seems to be a while since anyone has reviewed this restaurant and after reading so many positive comments I was eager to come here. We were deeply disappointed.

I read below about sushi and balmain bugs and even lobster but tonight those items didn't exist. A simple very limited buffet with prawns, oysters which hadn't been shucked properly and full of shell and some very average mussels. The hot food contained only 3 dishes. I just couldn't believe that we had waited so long to come here only to find something this mediocre!

We had the 8.30 pm seating and the place was virtually empty. A handful of people with many reserved tables set up and not occupied! Very very average, staff very eager to take plates and cutlery away and not replace them and a wine list with bottles starting from $45. I expected so much more for $80 a head, at the least I expected to have some variety and the type of seafood listed in the reviews below, what happened to this place? It "was one of the apparent "best in Sydney".

Certainly far from that now. I wish we'd stuck to the casino.

Food Glorious Food! so much of it unbelievable and priced so low no need to wonder it was a very busy on the night. Food kept coming to buffet, freshest seafood ever although night was busy, staff were very efficient and friendly specially Madieline made the night memorable. Thank you for lovely time and food. Will come back soon.
