Went there for a friends Birthday. We sat outside and got great views of the fireworks and Darling Harbour sites. The staff were initially quick and friendly. However, with making cocktails queues quickly started to form and we waited ages for our drinks. The biggest disappointment were the sharing platters, they mainly consisted of bread with a couple of pieces of meat and a few olives chucked in.

We were seriously ripped off at $15 a plate. I'd rather pay more and get something decent! Also, there was the usual fights outside, not sure where the bouncers were? Not a great vibe to end a pleasant evening.

Love this Bar, I have come here with my fiance a few times and have not once thought differently about it. This place is ideal! its a sit back relax atmosphere where you can go out with friends and loved ones! The music is perfect playing in the background. The outdoor seating is great with a magical view of the harbour where you can sit, drink,chat and have a cigi.

The service is quick and prompt you can't help it when they're packed out, of course you have to wait abit every one wants a drink at once lol. Every place you go to, you have to wait as well, but this place tries to be as quick as possible to serve everyone fast! I gota tell you though the egyptian bar guy is awesome with his hands! his Technique tricks with the drinks/Glasses "wow" his gota be the best bar man I have ever seen! Thanks again CohiBar you rock I would continue coming here, so don't close down what ever you do! cheers, ciao.

How you can be thrown away from a bar, after spending 200 AUD, before enjoying the drinks you have paid and only just because you told the barman about the poor taste of an expired liqueur. Most terrifying and unpleasant experience in my life across the world.

We were a group of 8 persons, we took our drinks and one of my friend noticed to the barman the improper taste of the liqueur he have order, very likely caused by its slow moving feature. My friend received in a second its money back and after 15 seconds the bodyguards came to our table, saying that it is the senior staff’s decision that our friend has to leave the bar.

I tried to discuss with the senior staff and he simply refused to provide any logically explanation, saying that is his decision to do so, because our friend “dared” to claim the poor quality of the liqueur. While politely insisting to get a reasonable answer, we have been threatened that they will call the police and we risk an AUD 5,000 fine. Under this circumstances, being European tourists and not knowing the local laws, we just left our untouched drinks….for which we paid AUD 200 and gave away this BLOOODY bar and its completely ROOT STAFF.

Gorgeous, love it! Most delectable cocktail list! Friendly staff, cruise atmosphere, very cosy. Highly recommend for meeting up with friends. Even a first date would be comfortable here! Nice, very nice.

I just visited last Saturday night for birthday drinks. Bar staff gave good service and were friendly and prompt. There was a no-smoking policy upstairs where the birthday was booked, which was a disappointment for anyone who wanted a cigar. The interiors are warmly decorated, giving a good ambience to compliment the amazing view and feel of the harbour. It is the location which makes Cohibar.

I visited recently and was very impressed with the range of cocktails, the venue and the service. I highly recommend the Serengheti Sunset and the Swamp Water. Great cocktails, fantastic service and the view is sumptuous...

Have held two 21st birthday parties here in the last few months. Staff were friendly and helpful, although somewhat disorganised when it came to events management, no-one seemed to know what facilities were availble etc. Drinks and canapes were generally good. The loft area gets quite warm, even in winter, this brings ambience down despite the great views of Darling Harbour at night! Overall, a good experience both times.

M God! I have been here a lot in the past and always thought it to be a haven for the few non pretentious people in Sydney. How that has changed. The atmosphere in the place has disintegrated noticably since my last visit at the beginning of the year, I don't think there are any of the same staff (they are all grumpy and downright bland). Someone has failed to look after this once fine tuned and high energy operation. I dare say Cohibar has lost its vibe that once set it apart from the rest. Shame but that's life. I won't be going back.

What a nite a nice place. shame music too loud could not speak to my date

the staff were cool but a girl with dark hair was rude thought she was too good for anyone and a bloke with tall drunk looking eyes was trying to pick up all the customers. but otherwise a nice place overall. (i own my pub in the country, money is hard enough to come by these days with out it walking out the door)
