Went to Coconut Thai midweek with my family for my husband's birthday. The staff were nice but the food was very disappointing. Dishes were full of vegetables and cabbage leaves and the cabbage was not decoration but large pieces scattered through every single dish. Salt and pepper squid was full of vegetables and 6 small pieces of squid for $24. Very little chicken or beef in any of the dishes. Not good value at all! We won't be going back.

We were very pleased with the food and ambience of this restaurant. The only thing I would fault was the staff. They just don't smile or take a real interest in you. We waited 40 mins for the Dessert menu and then had to ask for it. A little attention to patrons would make this place a 10/10. It definitely has potential.

Quite a good Thai eatery. We recently had dinner there again, this time with a group of 7. We had the barramundi, very fresh tasting, bit too much sauce. The ginger chicken stir fry was very flavorsome. Great tofu entree as were the prawn spring rolls. Mushroom dish is excellent. Nice place, lovely service. Been there a few time, bit unpredictable, never poor but ranges from ok to quite good.

Fabulous little Thai restaurant, food, service and ambience all excellent. The lamb shank massaman curry to die for. Probably only complaint was the duck curry, more curry than duck. Also the servings of rice were pretty tiny, a large bowl given, but only a small amount in the bottom, so we ran out quickly and had to order another, same deal. Even though $3 a serve is not an exhorbitant amount of money, a lot of Thai restaurants just top you up with rice as you need it, give you a big rice bucket, at no cost!

I was a regular customer when this outlet first opened and rated it as one of the best Thai restaurants in Sydney. Then everything went down the drain with poor service and flavourless food. The restaurant used to be full in the weekends but then the customers dropped to a trickle. I tried it again recently and am happy to report that the service and food standards are back to the high standards that they were when they first opened.
They must had got rid of the previous kitchen staff and front of house staff. The restaurant was again full after dropping off in recent dismal times. Glad you are back again.

I went there with my friends under the recommendation. It was seriously a bad meal. The service was extremely slow even thought there were two tables. The food was quite bad also, compared to other Thai restaurants and expensive than another. Not only were the servings small but the food was bad quality and look like they were a few days old. Overall, it was a bad experience. Disappointing.

Great value food and the dim lighting provided a nice atmosphere. I would recommend Mieng Khum Salmon, Duck Rolls, BBQ Seafood. Scuba Barramundi is the best, very good presentation and real Thai taste. Definitely we will be back.

Great food. Love it! Interesting a little more $ but worth it. The service is kind but a little un-polished. Love the Duck Roles, Lamb Shanks etc.

Great decor but thats about it. If only the staff could understand English I would have got what I ordered. Very disappointing.
