Absolutely brilliant! The selection of dishes was abundant, and they tasted fantastic. Value for money as well, with great service, what more could you ask for? Ambience? Tick, such a funky vibrant feel, recommend going there on a Tuesday night if you like live music. 10/10. Try and stop me from going back!

Sensational! You won't find better food or better value. Staff are super-friendly and helpful and everyone there is always in a happy mood. Love this place!

Thoroughly disappointing! The beef pichana was tasteless, tough and chewy with a very indifferent pichana side to dip it in. My partner took me for dinner here and I felt bad telling him I would not want to go back, 1/10 for food.

Seriously the best food I've ever eaten. My partner and I spent one week in Dee Why and ate at CocoMar every single night. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful, not to mention good looking! The service was amazing! They have something to suit everyone. We know because we tried just about everything! Delicious!

This is the first time I have been to Coco Mar and definitely value for money and I will be going back. It is a very laid back chilled atmosphere although the lighting could have been more ambient in the evening (dimmed lighting, candles to add to the vibe). The service was good and the menu is excellent.
Coco Mar need to sort out their website as is diverted to domain which is a shame as it would have been good to read more about the place and check out the menu for future reference. Other than that fantastic!

We went to this restaurant last night and were pleasantly surprised. The service from the young man was quick, very friendly and informative about the menu. We got the last seat in the house and still our meals arrived within 20 minutes. We had the moqueca baiana with fish, outstanding! Not to mention the price, only $35 for two.
Fantastic staff, we will go back because the ambience was great, the staff were lovely and prices were very reasonable. I'm pretty sure our wine was opened with a corkscrew!

The food is fantastic! I think they should spend a bit of money on decoration but the location is perfect, food unbelievable and service is great. It's definitely a go if you want to try Brazilian Food for a reasonable price and wonderful taste.

Great food, well worth the wait. Having never had Brazilian food before it was a pleasant surprise. The Barramundi is amazing and the entree's with the shredded chicken balls are a must have. Price was excellent, great value for money and a nice relaxed atmosphere. If you want a good feed and casual place to go, it is great.

I’m a fan of Brazilian food, and I was very impressed with the food here, this is a wonderful addition to Dee Why beach. The waitress was lovely, very friendly and helpful. The decor is cheap and cheerful, it’s clean and colourful and upbeat, but certainly nothing fancy. But who cares when the food is the real draw. We had the salt cod fritters to start, then I had the moqueca baiana, a coconut prawn curry which was absolutely delicious, slightly spicy, slightly sweet, and very creamy.
My husband had the feijoada, which was also very good, tender meat, earthy flavours, and not as salty as it has been when I’ve had it elsewhere. We also managed dessert, in spite of the rib-sticking qualities of the main courses, pudim de liete (like creme brulee) for me, and musse de maracuja (passionfruit mousse) for my husband, both of which were devoured.
And the prices are very reasonable, this dinner was about $50 (we took our own wine). I would be happy to recommend this restaurant to anyone after a reasonably priced, tasty, satisfying dinner, especially if you haven’t tried Brazilian food yet!
