I really wanted to like this place because the service was very attentive and the other reviews so good, alas they served us inedibly crunchy tomatoes disguised as insalata caprese.

My lady had a pretty good pasta special, linguine with rocket and a generous serving of prawns. My own pasta was the linguine with seafood, which was passable. Just.

Upon mentioning the crunchy tomatoes to the waiter's attention, we were advised they were 'thickly sliced', to which we replied 'no they are crunchy'. The waiter advised us that he would pass on the comments to the chef, however, we were disappointed when the dish was not removed from the bill considering I think I chipped a tooth. It was the least they could have done. The shredded basil on the top was nice though.

Attentive and friendly service! Food ain't bad either: my boyfriend can't get enough of the calzone ripieno while I enjoy the pasta, the spaghetti bolognese was very tasty (although spag bols can never be too saucy for me) and the ravioli alla zucca (pumpkin ravioli in butter sage sauce) was beautifully presented, although to be honest I couldn't really taste the pumpkin (a light colour?) and the sauce was understandably rich.

The garlic bread is decent enough, with the special garlic bread (anchovies and mozzarella) a special treat indeed! Good, reliable choice in Crows Nest.

Fantastic food, you can't go wrong in this place and great service. Such a change after the overpriced poor italian food in the other italian places in Crows nest.

Overall, a very good restaurant with traditional italian cuisine. Would be happy to make this my local. This restaurant allows BYO at a low cover charge.

My meal here was veal saltimbocca (~$25), which was very good and dessert was a vanilla bean panna cotta (~$9). The main was very good and the dessert was above average. My wife did not enjoy her meal as much, although, she ordered a dish which was not on the menu.

This restaurant has a good reputation from others I have spoken to and our experienced reflected that reputation. I have given the food a 7, however, it is close to an 8, albeit, I am comparing this (as I always do) against other restaurants with chef's hats which would normally get an 8 or 9 from me.

Had a great dinner at Coco's. The pizza is delicious, thin crust pizza with gourmet toppings. The quality of the food is much better than any of the other Italian restaurants along Willoughby road. The scampi pasta had great flavours and the pasta was cooked perfectly. I will definitely go again. This restaurant is raising the bar for Willoughby road.

After reading the few favourable reviews, we cancelled our reservations at the other place and came to Cocco's for dinner for our son's birthday dinner. The place is tastefully decorated and the service was friendly. We weren't rushed but it wasn't too slow either. We all ordered things that we asked for some omissions and they were more than happy to leave off the olives, mushrooms, and chillis. The pizzas were some of the best we've had in Sydney and our daughter said that her pasta was delicious. Can't wait to come back when we can really splurge on dinner.

I am so glad Coco's is here! I have tried 5 different places in Crows Nest for Pizza or good Italian food and been really disappointed each time! I popped into Coco's the other day and although it was quite late and they looked like they were closing the service was excellent. I tried the calzone which was superb. I"ll definitely be going back to explore more of their menu.

I and my friend are fastidious about food. My friend is a Sheraton trained chief and I am connoisseur of good food.

This was our second visit (1st visit: food was exceptional) and we were a little apprehensive as to whether uniformity of taste will be maintained. We ordered 1/2 doz. Scallops in lemon butter sauce and rosemary potatoes for the entree and for the mains Gnocchi Gorgonzola and Pumpkin Ravioli. It was as usual exceptional in taste and presentation.

The scallops just melted in my mouth and I scrapped the lemon butter sauce clean of the plate. The ravioli perfect and the Parmesan was not the powder that you see in other so called Italian restaurants. The chef used real Parmesan and shaved it on the plate.

This is the real deal. The staff was friendly and polite. The food arrived on time. We were very impressed and will go there whenever we want to have authentic Italian food. Bellisimo!
