The Club's bistro is open for lunch and dinner Monday through to Saturday and lunch on Sunday. Alfresco and indoor seating available. Vast menu which includes succulent steaks, Wagyu beef burger, Mediterranean influenced and seafood to name but a few. Families welcome.

As far as Clubs go this place could do with a bit of a makeover (it's pretty old school), but the food here is fantastic. Massive serves, delicious combinations, and very non-old school menu for a club. The chef was friendly as were the bar staff, and the prices are that genuine club price (change from a $20 for 5 drinks!). It has a really laid back friendly feel to it. We'll be back for sure!

The new caterers there are great. Massive improvement. The food is excellent and the servings are very big. The Wagyu Burger is probably the highlight, but the steaks and seafood are fantastic too. I eat there once or twice a week when the poker is on.

They have made improvements to the design of the food area, with new carpet, a slap of paint and properly dressed dining tables. The club is still friendly and fun as always with club bar prices.

Latter visit: Another burger, this time it was bloody awful, greasy and a bit rank. Still warm and friendly club, except for the dining area which could do with a bit more styling to make it less cafeteria-like. Changed my mind, will eat at home from now on.

First visit: Its hard to find a nice suburban club these days, they've either been gussied up so much that the old timers no longer feel comfortable, or they are the domain of decrepit old men, with surroundings and food to match. Club Willoughby has got that great balance somewhere in between, its warm and friendly, you'll end up talking to the locals (the old guys are really nice!), and you don't feel like a loser by hanging out there.

And judging by the wagyu burger, the food is good! Great meat, bun, plenty of extra bits, and nice fat steak fries to go with it. If I'm up there to catch a poker game (one of many activities they run for the local population), am happy to forgo slaving over the stove myself and pop in a little bit earlier and get something to eat.
