Food was beautful and service fine but the experience was marred by asking for a glass of sparkling at the beginning, not being shown a wine list, getting a glass of French champagne at $25 a glass. The next most expensive wine was $15 a glass -one third of the whole meal price was the two glasses of champagne at the outset. Small glasses too......maybe I need to get out more, but it really tainted my memory of the evening.
We came back and tried the place for the second time and found it absolutely amazing. The service was great, the menu has changed a little bit and the prices are very affordable. Generally I would recommend this place for some one who would like some no risk Greek food in the CBD without breaking the budget.
The food was very ordinary & the chef was absolutely vile - we asked what the dessert was on the $20 set menu & he said "what ever I give you" ... he was nasty to his staff as well ...
The restaurant and bar upstairs called Deco I think was really nice. Went there on a Friday and it was crowded downstairs, upstairs was much more relaxed and the food and service were excellent. I had the beef and my girlfriend had the lamb shanks. Nice setting and good value.
This place looks like a dive from the outside but once you walk in it's a very funky setting much like the exclusive met bar on park lane in london without the millionare customers. Don't worry no complaints there, very good setting and the staff are very friendly.
