The Food was all very nice but the service was dreadful. Went with a group of about 10, kids and older adults included, and after about 30 minutes the food just stopped coming. The waitresses seemed not too impressed that we wanted more food.

For close to $50 per head, and $8 per beer, and $35 for their cheapest bottle of red, one would expect the food to keep coming, but it wasn't so. The waitresses truly seemed annoyed to have to serve us after a short period of time, it was bordering on distain. Was planning on taking some work friends there, who are big eaters, but won't be bothering now.

The atmosphere/decor is ok, but for 60-70 dollars per person on average, it really is not up to standard. Wooden stools and benches in close quarters just doesn't cut the mustard. Really needs to be byo for any if my party to consider going again.

My friends and I dined here a couple of night ago and we were extremely disappointed. The service was poor. 2 waiters dropped and spilt drinks/food on our table. We had to constantly ask for more of a certain dish. There was not enough side dishes to go around for everyone, and these were never topped up. The 3 of us walked out with a $250.00 bill and feeling rather sick. I can't say that it is good value for money. The chairs are also very uncomfortable as they have no backs to them. Will not be eating here again.

It's hard to review a restaurant like this because it is what it claims to be - its gimmicky and it delivers what it promises.

Cons: Very noisy, uncomfortable wooden stools, meat varied from undercooked to overcooked, good cuts to fatty/sinewy, greatly over-priced wine (no BYO). I think I paid $35 for a cleanskin sav blanc they'd stuck their own label on. Really?

Pros: A Lot of food and quite varied, food comes out quickly (think yum cha) some of it quite tasty, some of it very average, excellent churros for dessert (served with caramel, not chocolate).

Overall it was as expected but a bit overpriced for what it is. With drinks I think it was about $70pp - really should be BYO for that style of place. Very very noisy.

If you go as a group for a bday party or some kind of celebration be prepared for the bill to be over $400. But also be prepare for the rude staff! They prance around like they are doing you a favour and like as if you are eating there for free and shld be grateful that they are there.

Because of this attitude they throw meat onto your plate (pieces would bounce off my plate and onto my lap... do not wear white). You cannot get their attention because they are too busy talking amongst themselves and not paying attention.

When the waitress came to collect my plate she grabbed it so viciously that the knife came hurling towards my lap, once again just like the meat did. When I said, oh my! She said...yes? do you have a problem or something? Like as if it was a high school playground and we were about to fight... So ridiculous!

She ended up dropping a platter about 10 mins later with glasses smashing to pieces. They obviously hire their waitresses from gumtree without interviewing first.

We went here tonight to shake off the memory of a hideous other Brazilian BBQ restaurant we recently visited. I say that this restaurant did the trick.

Although it was very busy, being a Saturday night, the girls were running around the restaurant keeping everyone well fed and retaining a cheerful face regardless.

The food was abundant and served hot and delicious, and we were inundated with wait staff wanting to offer us something. (one word of advice if you are trying this style of service for the first time, restrain yourself, it's ok to say no if you are feeling overwhelmed as they will be back later with the dish again! We learned that tonight).

The meats were well cooked and juicy, the pineapple a welcome treat which has a way of refreshing you between meats, and the potato was just divine. Believe it or not, we decided to have dessert and chose the bbq banana with caramel sauce. Yum!

The manager works the restaurant, ensuring everyone is happy and that makes such a difference. All in all, a very nice experience and one we will be happy to repeat.

Returned to Churrasco for my 4th time, but 1st in nearly a year. Still the same high quality. Staff were friendly, meat was fantastic, another great night. Cannot recommended this place highly enough.

Food was delish! One style of meat was too salty for my liking but 99% was to die for. And if you can fit it in the desserts are great. We had the churros so so good, everybody else was very happy with theirs. I would say food was pretty good value for money. You are rolling out the door, beers are a bit expensive.

Service was a bit funny. While we got lots to eat, it was a bit hard to find someone to get drinks, but they did come promptly once ordered. The restaurant looks good. It's a bit hard to move around as the table are close together, as are the stools, and you have the waiters with the food in the way. The stools are uncomfortable after a while, and be prepared to get cosy with your neighbour as they are close!

We had a booking for 8 and some of our party were there a few minutes before and some a few minutes after. Their early were hassled a little bit about how many people were coming. They said they were busy and wanted to seat people at the table. The people there were guests of a party and said they didn't know exactly how many people were coming but there was a booking. The waitress seemed a bit put out!

We will definitely be back. Make sure you go with a empty stomach, and be there on time!

Have been there about 5 times & gee how things change -- the food have been very good all 5 times but the service has gone from great to dreadful. I've read many reveiws on Caringbah Churrascos & the main issue now is actually getting the good food onto thew tables - I don't know if its the waitstaff being slack or the manager/chefs not being able to afford the meat bill but this place is going down fast. When you return to a place & ready to spend $500 plus you expect the experience to get better-not nosedive. The concerns are when you have a smaller group you basically get ignored for the bigger groups - you don't get hardly any food & your drinks go missing or don't turn up at all. When it first opened it was honestly 10/10 but now its more like a 3. The endless plates of meat have dried up as well as the service.
