Love the food there! The shop is a little small but the food is so good, and it cheap 2! I love their chive dumplings and my mom loves their noodles. I just realised that I have been visiting that shop for 10 years! Guess that says it all.

Above average, if not spectacular, Chinese food with generous portions at good value. We tried a range of dishes and agree with prior reviews re the dumplings being the best option. Service was fast and they allowed us to take our time eating which is not always the case at places with limited seating. Only downside was the conspicuous location of a cigarette butt disposal unit outside (and associated users) which meant smoke wafted in from time to time. But, food and value were good, hence, we would come back again.

Combine musical chairs and the most amazing dumplings and Chinese food ever, you get this place. You will always be welcomed by the friendly owner who mostly just says "Please, please!" happily welcoming you in. This place is the best ever. And the food is cheap and simply amazing every single time. The tacky grapes hanging from the ceiling just makes me love it more!

Cheap and tasty dumplings. We've nicknamed this place "Angry Dumplings" as the service can be pretty brusque, but always efficient. All of the dumplings are fantastic, the noodles are great, and the value is through the roof. I love you angry dumplings!

1/08/10 - this place absolutely never fails to deliver. It's by far one of the best restaurants in Sydney, consistency is key! The food here is consistently awesome and over the years the service has improved too, now they even have a violin player to entertain those waiting outside. Positively swanky!
I've nick-named this place "dumpling mania" - it's a special treat! Their dumplings are good, the noodles slide straight down, the food is fresh and gorgeous. Even the service is getting better. Can't fault this place.

This is one of those places where you might not like everything on the menu but you go there religiously for certain dishes. I love this place and the value is amazing. Noodles to die for. Recommended.

Great place, great food. Love the handmade noodles and the little window where you can see them make the noodles. Dumplings are great. Friendly owner. We go there 2 times a month and love it every time.

Authentic Northern Chinese food with very fresh ingredients. The noodles are silky smooth, the dumplings light and seasoned just right. You need to not mind being crowded in, but that's part of the charm. The decor is odd but cosy.

Regular favourite, I work in Ultimo and it's famous with people in my office. Pork and chive dumplings are amazing. Spring pancakes and braised eggplant also great. Don't go there if you want a romantic dinner or a long chat, you'll get booted out!
