Very expensive for a product that doesn't live up to the price. If I had to pay more, I'd expect the dishes to blow me away. The food is good, but that's about it.
There were 10 waitresses around and only 2-3 table occupied each time we went there. The staff were polite, but none were Malaysian so you get the feeling (when asking them for something) you know more about the dish than them! The herbal soup is really good, but light on the actual chicken meat.

The worst restaurant, surcharge on holiday $3.00 per head, $3.00 per head for tea, but water was warm, not hot. When we told the staff, they stared at us. We ordered, Bak Kut Teh, Stir fried vegetables, Hainan Chicken and Rice and Fish head noodle soup. Bak Kut teh, MSG + water, terrible taste, the pig's feet like rubber, 4 of us tried to give it a good bite, none succeeded. I think we need iron teeth to eat this pig's feet.

Stir fried vegetables cooked in shrimp paste. It was cold, very oily, the worst cooking I've ever taste. Hainan chicken and rice, extremely expensive, $14 for half chicken. Tasteless. Not worth. Fish head noodle soup. We didn't eat it because I saw the staff's thumb dip in the soup when she place it on the table.

Overall, the service was terrible, the environment was dirty, plates and bowls were worn out and partly broken. We pay around $130.00+. We definitely will never ever go back again, and we strongly recommened our friends not to go there.

Got a mix of chinese and malaysian dishes. The only place where I have tasted the herbal soup dishes. Thats ok but westerners won't like it. There seems to be too many waiters for the number of tables making it quite crowded, but service is fine.

Food is bad, most of the stuff seems deep fried in oil that is 10 years old and not much meat. We also had the crab and also some soup dishes. Next day my partner said she just crapped oil! Too pricey, bad food, bad service. its also bad for parking. We are not coming back here.

This place is seriously over priced! To give you an idea, bak kut teh $38, chilli crab $99, dinner for 3 cost $200+, luckily it wasn't my shout. I rather go to a proper seafood restaurant.

Food - One of the worst chinese food in Sydney. For example, Honey chicken, no chicken only flour. Chicken curry laksa, no chicken only water, tasteless. Hainan chicken, 3 "spoon's of rice?

Ambience - Place is crowded with tables and chairs. Chairs uncomfortable, and dirty dishes unkept.

Service - Service is poor, forgot to give back change. Also, unfriendly and unorganised.

Value - This is by far the most expensive Laksa "$18" for its quality and quantity. Similarly, all the foods are overpriced. Lack of ingredients and full of "msg".

Probably the worst service in Sydney. It doesn't matter how good the food might taste, but when you have to wait 45 minutes to be seated and then 2 hours for your order to arrive, one dish at a time, it just leaves a sour taste in your mouth. When you do decide to raise an issue with the waitress, they argue back and start telling you off instead. Please do yourself a favor, stay as far away as you can.

I wasn't really happy with the service but I don't like to judge a restaurant or cafe on that basis alone and get stubborn about it like other "reviewers." This is because the service varies from individual persons. In my case at Dishy, it wasn't good at all. But let's focus on the food which is more important (when it finally arrives). Very average.

Been to this restaurant with a big name. The minute I walk into the place and notice some similarity, the waitress with the same 'baju kebaya'. Oh not! could it be the same restaurant that I had visited some time ago from Dixon St., Chinatown. Check with the waitress and was told that it was. Immediately, I wanted to walk out but on second thought, I want to give them another chance. History repeats itself.

The Bak-kut teh was sweet, like you are having a dessert. The Hainan chicken rice doesn't look appealing at all. The cheapest meal on the menu was $18.90 which is just a bowl 'har mee', the most expensive noodles in Sydney. I vow I will never go back again even if it's for free.

I had lunar dinner here after seeing the advertisement on Chinese cable TV. OK, the crab was good but everything borders on sweet. Perhaps sugar is cheap. We also ordered Penang Prawn Mee which came without the sambal. When I asked for sambal, the waitress (sweet person) said that they don’t have anything. Indignant, I went to the kitchen and found sambal. I don’t know about this one.
