This was on the list a few weeks ago for takeaway. Only noticed it really by people leaving with the takeaway boxes with little metal handle.

Boxes don't look any bigger than the standard, plastic container used in most Chinese takeaways. I did not watch them put the cooked contents in but they must have crammed the food in because we had enough left over for dinner the following night.

Great price and tasted great. Open till late when most others are tucked up in bed.

Awesome food for a great price. The servings are big enough to satisfy big appetites. The missus usually has enough left over for lunch the next day, not me though:)
Not much of a place to dine in but you could if you want, more takeaway really.
Order on the phone and its pretty much ready to pick up as soon as you can drive there. Super fast, super good, eat there!

The noodles are great here, I always come here. I recommend the singapore noodles or lemongrass noodles. Not the place to dine at, but great for take away and they give you so much in a serving.

This place is great for quick, tasty noodle or rice dish. The fresh vegetables and ingredients are right there where you can see them and the servings are massive! They are more than happy to cook vegetarian versions of other menu items, all you have to do is ask and they always check to see if you do eat egg as well. Great value!

My only complaint is with the noodle dishes that contain sauce, it eventually leaks out through the cardboard box. A bit tricky if one isn't driving home or able to keep the box in a flat position but definitely worth putting up with a bit of sauce here and there for the generous servings, quick service, great taste and exceptional value of this place.

Everyone in Hornsby knows Chefs Noodle as being the best value take away in town. $8.80 has been the fixed price for years and this can easily feed two adults. To all those concerned with the oiliness of the dishes, simply ask for rice instead of noodles.

Episodes of Seinfeld featuring cardboard Chinese take out boxes are not often seen in down town Hornsby. So it is lovely to experience these paper take out boxes first hand and to discover that they are stuffed to their veritable brim with good wholesome and fresh food.

Food is cooked in front of you while you wait showcasing the freshness of ingredients. However the atmosphere does not make you want to eat in and leads to consuming thoughts wondering why the staff don't go mad at the cacophony of the pan noises. The repetitive and annoying sound of the constant 'ting' as the food is mixed by throwing the pan around can be hard to handle. But that is my sole complaint! For good value and healthy take out (although sometimes oily) this place is a great.

The problem with this place is the young man taking the orders, he will usually get it wrong! The food is good, if you manage to firstly get what you ordered and secondly if they close the lid on the food properly. Not only am I fed up with food leaking over my car seat or floor (and losing the rest of the meal in the bag) I am fed up with getting home to find I don't have the meal I ordered! Not good enough. A little quality control will not be lost on this place. It's all too hard! Eating out should be easy but this place makes me too annoyed so I won't bother anymore. No thanks!

Chef's Noodle is a great place to get a healthy take away meal for a great price. The ingredients are always fresh and the meal sizes always generous. Great value for money. The people are always friendly, give personalised service and efficient at serving orders with a minimum of wait time. I would highly recommend Chef's Noodle to anyone who wants to take away a quick, healthy meal at a price cheaper than you could make at home.

Food is fresh & prepared right in front of you. I have always been concerned with seafood from places such as this, but there has never been a problem. Take away boxes are always jam packed so great value for money. 1 box will happily satisfy 2 hungry adult mouths! Only thing that makes me think twice about rice dishes is that every time they have a high amount of oil - very greasy & there is quite a large amount at the bottom of the container. I am yet to request minimal oil so can't advise what the texture/taste is like doing it this way. I have only had a soup once & found it to be lacking in flavour - needs to be simmered but can't really do this when it is made to order. Good for quick fresh take away.

Chef's Noodle is where we go when we need fast-food, but want something decent.
The noodles taste fantastic, and you get amazing value for money, they fit a massive amount of noodles in a tiny take-away box. The shop itself is nothing nice. It's not really a place to eat in. It is fairly entertaining watching the chef at work, there's something very militant about the way he cooks.
