I moved into the area recently and have eaten here about 4 times, it never disappoints. The food is amazing and the menu has a wide variety, which I will hopefully work my way through, even though it's not a cheap eat, the food is so fantastic that it's well worth it. I would definitely recommend to all.

Charles really is incredible. Amazing food! Not the cheapest pub meals in the world but then this is not your typical pub grub. Steaks are divine, mash potato is the best mash I've ever eaten. You can't go past the lamb shanks they really are the pick of the menu. Make sure you try his specials to: The Backstrap and the Barramundi are two of the best. Yes ambience isn't spectacular but this is a friendly local pub and wine selection is fantastic.

The food is great. I have tried numerous dishes and loved most of them. Nice big, tasty feeds. Love the chicken and prawn spring rolls with the best sweet chilli sauce I have ever tasted. The lamb shanks, lasagne and spag bowl are probably my favourites but there's great variety if you want something else. Did you know they do takeaway? It's not advertised but very convenient if you are a local! Not a huge fan of the atmosphere or decor but it's quick, easy and tasty. Sometimes that's what I feel like on a Sunday night when I am tired and hungry!

Like watching the footy and having a nice meal at this bar. The bar itself is a little ordinary but now the smoking is no longer in bar it is possible to enjoy the great cuisine whipped up by the Bistro. Best Chicken curry and also best tandoori marinated lamb I have had in Sydney. The Burgers and Fish and Chips are also nice.

The pub itself is fine, nothing special but what do you expect? The waitresses are OK too. The bar staff have plenty of attitude and are a bit aloof, but when it comes to the food you don't care.
The lamb curry is the best I've tasted anywhere in Sydney and if on the rare opportunity that I order anything else, I've never had a bad meal. Actually, I did have a bad meal once when I ordered fish and chips and my friend ordered the curry. I realised my mistake and spent the entire meal resenting my fish.

Went here a couple of times to try their various dishes and I must say that the food was excellent. The Lamb Shanks and the Fish Curry is out of this world. Great Curries for curry lovers, if you like it very spicy, the chef is always willing to put in the extra chili. Something different, try the Duck Bangers which is also out of the world, Alex loved it. Service was ok, what do you expect in a busy bistro, I would recommend this place to the new comers like us to try your local dinner.

I go here quite often as I have workmates who are big fans of the place. The atmosphere is pretty yuk. The room is awful, but I guess decor isnt high on their list of priorities. The food however is of a consistantly good standard - the tandoori lamb burger is fantastic and the curries excellent. The rib eye steak is huge but beautifully cooked, homemade lasagne is above average. Last time I went I had a special which was oven baked orange roughy with sauteed spinach and mash, served with a lemon butter sauce. Fish was perfectly cooked, although the sauce drowned it a bit - thye could have gone a bit easy on the amount. The service ranges from adequate to non existant, although because we are regulars, I suspect we get treated better than walk ins. No, its not fine dining of silver service, but its pretty good value for money.

We came here last night to redeem a voucher before it expires next week. There were two waitresses who were obviously stressed out and when we finally got to order, one of the waitresses argued with us that they wouldn't accept the voucher. After insisting that they do and me wanting to order the beef and my friend the chicken (which was $4 cheaper than my meal), she said she could only give us another meal for free that was in the same price range as my beef. Don't really get the logic here since they actually made a loss but anyway. Waited a good 50 minutes for our food, beef was great but mash and veg were only ok and very little. Since each of us only paid $11.50 I couldn't really complain but for $23 I wouldn't order this meal again. Service was not very good and very unfriendly, wouldn't recommend it
