Overview
Was appalled with my experience at such a fine establishment! Decided on this restaurant as a pre show dinner thinking it was a good looking eatery & looking busy & full of atmosphere.
Got there at 6.30pm without a booking & the waiter was happy to seat myself & 4 friends. We ordered entree & main. As I was finishing my entree at approx 7pm, the waiter came to say they had another booking at 7.30pm, so I suggested they bring mains asap.
Mains did not arrive till 7.20pm. As I was still eating my meal at 7.30pm the waiter said the booking had arrived & would I like to take my meal away?!
By the way, the sizzling lamb dish I ordered was not sizzling & the lamb barely resembled the colour or texture of any other meats. My friend had a soft shell crab salad that had no salad ingredient in it & was drowning in sauce, only to make the soft crab soggy & tasteless.
Very disappointed!

This place is really very horrible. The waiters were miserable and treated us like a burden. The food was not great at all. It had no taste and the steamed dumplings were actually disappointing. Stay away.

This was a great surprise. I went with a group from work, and had no expectations. I found the food to be great, and the portions the biggest I have seen at a Thai restaurant. The prices were extremely reasonable, and could not recommend this venue highly enough, for a meal before or after seeing a show at Star City, or any other time for that matter.

I like this place a lot. For starters, it is very reasonably priced for the area it is situated in (Darling Harbour/Pyrmont). The waiters are always super friendly and accommodating. Ambience is nice inside, and there are a number of tables outside for smokers, with heaters provided. The food is very average but then again I am not a huge fan of Thai but it is a great place to get a quick and cheap bite before heading to a show or a big night out.
