It's been 2 years since I've been to this restaurant! This used to be my favorite place to eat during winter because their pork Kim chi soup is the best in town and warms you up from the first sip! It's quite small and cramped for room but I finally made a visit last night and has my usual, fried dumplings (not so great anymore with the ginger), ricecake with sweet noodle (my favorite as always), Kim chi soup (superb), and also tried something new sweet and sour pork is amazing, it doesn't have the food colouring that most Chinese places and actually has pork instead of fried batter like what you taste at Chinese takeaway!
We ordered 6 dishes all together for 2 adults and one child, and let me say we had ordered way too much, I had forgotten how big the servings were from last time! But we were allowed to take the remaining food home, which was perfect for lunch at work! The bills came to about $80 for 6 dishes and one soft drink as sides and water was free! Their Sweet potatoes side is my favorite!
Will def be back, wish it could be more frequent! But winter is here and this place is good for value and delicious! Enjoy!

I used to frequent this restaurant ages ago and it brought back great memories when my friends and I stepped inside. It has been nearly 10 years but the place still felt the same with the booths and ambience.
The night we went it was quite busy and while the waitress didn't smile, the service was efficient with refill of sides and water when needed. We ordered potato noodles, pancakes and spicy rice cakes which were tasty but the standard Korean fare. Prices are reasonable and it was great to pay this place a visit.

I've been here 3 times in the past 2-3 weeks. Each time has been consistent in terms of food etc. The ambience of this place is ok. They have these wooden seats and tables reminiscent of a cubby house, but it has a bright appearance about it.
The service is good and they are happy to refill your sides multiple times. The sides themselves are awesome, the potato and jelly sides are the best. But the kimchi and beansprouts are good either way.
The food has also come down to quite good value when you share and split it. The last time I went, we split a hot pot, kimchi pancake, potato noodles and fried chicken for 5 people and it was $12.50 pp and we were Very full. The food is tasty and I enjoyed every dish.

After numerous requests for the side dishes, they still would not give my cousins and I what we asked for, choosing to serve other customers instead. We were outraged when the next table asked for the same thing and got it immediately! Very dissatisfied with the service. Food was average. Will not return.

I had previously reviewed this restaurant over a year ago but for some reason it is now gone but just as well as I have a new review.
This place is now shocking. I used to recommend this to everyone as one of the best value Korean restaurants in Sydney. No longer ! I mean the food was never great it was average but the portions were huge !
We ate there at least once a month for the last 2 years but we missed the last few months as we were overseas. Went back last night and we will never be back. I always get either the chicken or pork fried cutlet the (chicken/don gasse) It used to be almost as big as the entire plate, smothered in cheese and mushrooms.
Last night it didn't fill a third of the plate, no cheese at all and maybe 3 very thin slices of mushroom and yet - the price was the same. The tables have all been replaced to crappy wooden tables and chairs instead of the comfortable booth seats they used to have. My backside was hurting from the cheap seat before the food arrived. I ate the meal, the actual quality tasted the same though I thought it was a lesser grade of meat (but I think that might just be my imagination since I was already so disappointed at the size of the portion)
So I will just say avoid this unless you like getting half size portions for full size prices. There are better Korean places in Strathfield anyway .

I have gone to this restaurant a few times and on all occasions, the food was generally ok. As most reviews state, the restaurant does have a homey atmosphere and it is very comfortable. However, the service is a shocker. The waitresses have almost always been rude.
Most importantly, the owner of the restaurant was carrying around her dog in her arms in and out of the kitchen. I approached her quietly after my meal and told her that this did not sit right with me. I told her that it was not hygienic for the dog to be there in the kitchen and said it was probably against the law too. She then rebuked me (in Korean) and told me to go pay my bill and leave. I felt so disgusted by her comments and her attitude that I paid the bill and did just that.
Never coming here again. Unless I suddenly crave some sort of dog hair in my soup.

Come to CeCi with a hungry tummy! Because they have large portions and they are yummy! I like their Spicy/Chilli Chicken, Beef Tofu Hot Soup and their Octopus Hot Noodle.
This place is very cute because it has pink wallpaper and it feels like a 70s style cafe. The service depends on who serves you. The owner lady is very friendly, but one time the young waitress was not that attentive (as she prefers to chat with her friend outside the restaurant rather than serving us). But overall, great value for hungry stomachs and they open until late too!

I absolutely love the chicken dishes from CeCi. The sweet and spicy chicken is delicious. I always end up ordering the kimchi soup, its hot and its spicy. Their kim chi is made really well, alot of korean places overload the salt and its unbearable. The restaurant is always packed and the food comes out really quick. Service is friendly and attentive, the restaurant is quite small but there is a certain comfort about the place.

This place used to be my favourite, but over the last few months, it has gradually gone downhill. We found a regular soup we had was being cut down in ingredients significantly. Portions have also been reduced. As regular diners who used to go once a week without fail, it was a huge disappointment this was happening.
Service is generally okay, but most of the time waitresses don't know how to speak english. They are generally friendly if you go in the morning, but sometimes difficult to communicate what you want. Ambience used to be really cosy, but they removed the carpet and its just not as nice as it used to be.
Sad to see this place being ruined by those who manage it by trying to cut down in costs via the food.
