I have to say that the food here was very enjoyable, until I got up to use the facilities, or the lack of them. The bathroom was like something from Trainspotting, the sink was pulled off the wall, there were cockroaches crawling around, broken tiles and general filth all over the place. It was very disappointing as I found the service quite good.
The cockroach running across the wall as we sat down set the scene for a horrible dinning experience. Our first waitress didn't speak English. The next two could however they clearly didn't care. Our food was terrible - two of us ordered barramundi and the chef must have disposed the whole contents of his jar of salt amongst them. It was totally inedible. Our garlic bread was soggy and arrived during the mains. No one bothered to ask how the meal was and when I did tell the waiter our food was terrible he just smiled and walked away. The whole experience ruined our night and it’s a safe bet that I will NEVER return.
A nice little club very friendly staff and nice food and there was Flamenco dancing and music playing while I was enjoying my dinner, I so felt as if I was in Spain.
Reasonable place with good tapas, although it isn't the best. Only the ambience is below average, it was sweltering hot inside and it wasn't helped when the place was completely packed.
People slam this place (as I've seen in the comments), but with a few minor adjustments, this place could become exceptional!
I very rarely complain but this was without question the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. There was only 6-8 other people in the restaurant but we waited well over an hour for the main meal. The waitress tried her best but only spoke limited English. Some of the group who had tapas said their meal was ok but those of us who had the steak agreed it was awful (I only ate about 10% of my steak). The prices were very expensive compared to similar restaurants. Their menu said they accept American Express but when we went to pay by American Express they said they didn't. Then they tried to make it sound like we were being difficult. Probably the most disappointing thing is that we let them know how poor we found everything and they really didn't seem to care. Would hate to see how they manage this restaurant when it is busy.
Always a favourite for family get togethers. The staff are friendly. Points lost for having to dine in a cramped space...just makes the experience a little uncomfortable. The tapas are delicious though.
Decor is very nice in the old castillian style. That's the best I can say. Packed in like sardines. Service slow and blaze. Food not exciting and presentation poor. Too noisy and too crambed for my liking.
