The view is amazing that is a fact. The food however was very mediocre, just nothing you can't get anywhere else much cheaper! For my party not one of us could really remember what we had had to eat the next day and only 2 bottles of wine were had between 5 of us!
Also what's with the lighting?? I could barely read my menu!

Invited a number of close family and friends for my 40th and the whole night was absolutely perfect. The girls had the best cocktails they'd drank in ages, perfectly mixed and incredibly fresh. The guys had a great selection of beers to choose from. The food was absolutely awesome, plentiful, tasty and took us ages to actually order because we couldn't make up our minds on what to go for.
Wine selection was awesome also. Highly recommend this restaurant for its location, great service, awesome food and guaranteed the best experience you'll have in a restaurant in Sydney. And we've been to many good restaurants, Rockpool, Aria, Guilamme. Cafe Sydney is the best one yet and we'll definitely recommend and keep going back.

First time visitor on a warm saturday night, sat on the terrace with beautiful views.
Good service, great location and pretty cool setting. The food was alright, nicely prepared although missing that special something.
The scallops lived not up to the expectations as well as the baby squid that sat just a tad too long on the grill. The skin of the duck breast could have been crispier with the meat a bit too red, the gnocchi should have been taken out of the broth a minute earlier.
Despite the admittingly minor-shortcomings a nice place, and the ambience and service make up for the rest.

Cafe Sydney is one of my new favourite restaurants. I had heard so much about it and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was better. It was such a lovely surprise to walk through the bar area into the dining area and being greeted with such a beautiful view of the bridge. We will definitely go back in the near future.

This place never disappoints me, and in fact impresses every time regardless of the crown I bring in, corporate functions or large family special occasions. Very enjoyable food, great view, service is always at its top.

Until my return last month, I hadn't been to Cafe Sydney in years, as it was never really a favourite of mine. My experience this time around was far more impressive and I look forward to finding an excuse to go back soon.
The service was faultless, and the food divine. Each dish was beautifully crafted, and finding a winning dish among them was a hot competition indeed. On the day that I dined it was a perfect Friday afternoon and the sense of space and light seemed to have an intoxicating effect on all.
And speaking of intoxicating, they have a mean cocktail list. Which in our case, proved the perfect accompaniment as we watched the sun set and the end of what was, a memorable and enjoyable lunch. Well done Cafe Sydney!

I have previously attended this venue many times for design events, however only recently had the chance to enjoy the full dining experience. They are not breaking any food records - but wow - with that view, good service, the best cocktails and great friends - it all made for a fantastic evening. Burnt a small hole in the wallet, but worth it. Great night out

I came here with few friends on a Saturday night, this place was packed. Food was good but not outstanding, service was slow but view was amazing.
