A really nice community cafe. Mostly local regulars, have some new staff that make great coffee. Ordering and paying at the counter makes it an easy experience. Plenty of mags and newspapers available to read, and some toys to keep the kids occupied. Fabulous bacon and perfect poached eggs every time. Love the fresh juices as well.

Now I have only myself to blame..at 8:30 am on a saturday 2 people were in this place and that should have said everything. Anyway ordered the bachelor breakfast - my bacon was black from being cooked on a dirty grill and so overcooked it wouldn't cut, only snap. My poached eggs were waterlogged and the sausages were less tasty than Coles snags although that's not a biggie.

My wife's French toast stack was so unenjoyable, she only ate 1 slice and even though the Maple syrup was requested to be on the side (it was) it was also covering the bottom of the plate defeating the purpose of that request. Add 2 coffees (they were OK) and at $33 possibly the worst brekkie I have paid for and I have been to food courts for $5 specials. This is one Annandale local who will never go back.

I had a late breakfast here (12pm) yesterday. The service was appalling. We ordered the big breakfast and were told they had run out of sausages? We could replace these with tomatoes. We were then told that there would be a 20 minutes wait (which was actually 30 mins).

We ordered 2 Sprites and were given the bottles, to be told the glasses would be brought to our table. 5 minutes later I got up, joined the queue again, and when I got to the counter was told they'd be with me in a minute. There were two coffees ready to go and the waiter was telling the chef he would probably have to wash some saucers up so he could send them out. I then asked for the 2 glasses.

When our meal was finally ready, the waiter couldn't find us - even though there were only 3 other tables inside and everyone else had eaten - he asked a table with dirty cutlery if they'd ordered more food before I could flag him down. The meal was huge - I am not a fan of the massive toast. I would not go back here purely based on the terrible service. I can only hope they were a few staff members down as it wasn't even running at full capacity.

I ordered the veggie burger, the bread was stale, the pattie was frozen on the inside and the service was inattentive and off hand. Would never go back.

This place does the best brekkies, poached eggs with thick cut toast and bacon. Loverly Grub!

Love this cafe! The portions are always huge and the food is very tasty. Homemade desserts finish off your meal perfectly. The staffs are friendly, efficient and remember your face. Go to this place for breakfast, lunch or coffee and cake, can't beat it!

The portions here are humungous! Good 'hangover breakfasts', cajun chicken burgers and sometimes soups. The staffs are always friendly. My only criticism is they always absolutely drown breads and toast in butter - even in the burgers.
