The space is small and the tables are cramped, but they serve the best big breakfast I've tasted in Sydney or anywhere else: scrumptious Turkish bread with butter, eggs done perfectly however you like them, fresh bacon ("much" better than you'd buy in a packet), tasty mushrooms, tomatoes with an exquisite blend of herbs, and tea or coffee. Served in the morning on weekdays or all day Saturday and Sunday. The rest of their food is also outstanding (or so I hear). Highly recommended.
These guys deserve more reviews. Best bircher muesli in the city. Best grilled sandwiches in the city. Really good coffee. Been coming here for years, as have most of their punters. They work really hard and the food is so consistent.
Excellent views of Sunday morning Taylor Sq freak shows.
I like this little cafe, and the quality of their tasty ingredients keeps me coming back. They make a great banana smoothie, they have lovely fruit based muffins, and my favourite toasted sandwich is a vegetarian one, featuring eggplant and kumera, with a deliciously creamy goats cheese.
The staff are lovely, and attentive, despite it being small, and often busy. And it had a nice fenced streetside place to watch the comings and goings at Taylor Square.
