Everything that entered my mouth was amazing, cocktails, amazing, small platters in the lounge, amazing, entre (scallops with white anchovies), amazing, beef tenderloin, amazing, banana tarte tatin, absolutely amazing. This food in a restaurant with great atmosphere, paired with what I would consider one of the best views in Sydney (since there are a lot of steps, every table will have a view) made for a great night.

We used a Sydney Entertainment Book coupon and saved $50 off the meal which made it seem like very good value as well. Make sure you show up early to enjoy a cocktail in the lounge.

One of Sydney's most consistent restaurants. What other restaurant can keep a score of 7.5 with as many as 355 votes! Food is always a consistently good quality, naan always amazing. Cocktails great, service is always snappy and I find that should you engage with the waiters, they'll love you and not treat you like a tourist.

And with that view, well, the best dining view and dining vibe in Sydney. Might not be the most amazing dinner experience you'll ever have but you can always count on it to be good and thats more than I can say for alot of other top end syd restaurants that offer all the bells and whistles but can only deliver the goods on the rising of the moon! Well done Jan (Gen. Manager) and team, you guys are superb!

Took some family from the US to dine and glad that we did! Food and service were amazing, the cocktails were superb and the price was reasonable for what it was.

Will not dine here again. The reason for going here is about the cocktails and the view, everything else is not worth the hype they generate. Very disappointed.

What a wonderful dining experience this was! I have been raving about it ever since. Beautiful ambience, considerate staff, and mouth watering food (the bread and butter pudding was especially nice). The only small down side was that our booking was limited to a two hour session. But overall, 10/10. Will definitely go here again.

First time at this restaurant for a special occasion and we had a wonderful experience. Service was excellent, food was superb and the view on a perfect Sydney night was spectacular. It was packed but we were not rushed at all. If we had an unlimited dining budget, I would frequent Cafe Sydney often.

I haven't been to this restaurant for years, so when it was my brother bday, my husband and I decided to take him here. I booked the earlier seating and managed to get a table on the balcony and wow! the view is amazing (Sydney is really beautiful) but that would be the main highlight of this place.

The food was good but nothing that was amazing. We did get a salad, mains and sides to share and a dessert each. The highlight being the bread and butter pudding with brandy macerated fruit and honey ice cream was the best!

For the prices, we would probably go to other fine dining restaurants where there is no view but the prices are slightly lower with excellent food. Cafe Sydney is definitely the place to go for special occasions.

I've been to Cafe Sydney over the years for work and the food has always been good. I went again this week however after 1 or 2 years without having visited. I have to say that the food there this week was incredible. I had a tandoori ocean trout marinated in yoghurt and it was incredibly soft and delicious. My husband had the lamb and he too was raving about the meal all afternoon. Cafe Sydney has always been good but we both certainly noticed a difference in the food this time versus the years gone. Fantastic.
