Excellent service and tasty food. Went on a voucher which covered 2 drinks & 2 mains, They didn't charge a cent extra to feed our 2 kids, 2 sets of quesadillas, a drink, a side and an ice cream. great value - thanks guys, we will be back!

I have been visiting this place for years now, and can't seem to get enough!
It has a great atmosphere, and the staff are very friendly. Have been for a function, my only negative is that the set menu food is pretty average in comparison to when I have eaten off the menu.
The quality of food is not comparable to your average local Mexican joint, not only is it fresh, it is incredibly tasty and filling.
Great selection of Tequila too!

For those who have had real Mexican food and are seeking the holy grail (good Mexican food in Sydney) , keep looking... This place is bustling noisy, high margin drinks and food which tastes the same regardless of which dish you order - meat rice beans cheese and bland salsa sums it up.

Went here for my boyfriends birthday on a Wednesday night. The service was great and the servers incredibly friendly! (Could have possibly come around a little more often so we could order more drinks).
It's the first time I've had Mexican food so I can't really compare but it was really good and incredibly filling. At the end they even let us split the bill.
A bit on the pricey side but worth it after such a good dining experience. Will definitely be going back on a weekend to try the Tequila!

Cafe Pacifico has been attracting bartenders all around Sydney for the past 14 years with their selection of over 90 different types of rare and premium tequila. The atmosphere is like nothing else, probably thanks to all the tequila! Make sure to order the fajitas… you hear you meal before you see it! That’s the real Meso-American deal for you!

This place is awesome, my friends and I came for just a catch up meal and drink, and unexpectedly turned out to be a Fantastic night! (it was a saturday night). There were a few birthday celebrations, and, therefore, a fair bit of people in party mode. It ended up costing about $60 each for shared entree and main each, with plenty of drinks.
Waiting staff and bar staff, super friendly and warm people that made us feel so welcome. The night ended with much ingested sangria, dancing, and shots of tequila!

Cafe Pacifico is by far the worst place I have eaten in Sydney. After ordering the set menu for our group booking I was starving and went elsewhere to eat after wards to fill my belly! The service was poor and the quality of the food was well below average.
The sangria jugs tasted like water. I would not recommend Cafe Pacifico to anyone!

If you're looking for a restaurant for a big group this is the place to go.
Fantastic vibe, and the banquet meals are only $33-$39. Deffs go through the Tequila menu at the bar. I went on a friday night and the barstaff got out crash symbols and streamers were thrown at the guests. Good photos at this place also.

Great restaurant/bar for a fun night out. I never thought there would come a day where I would enjoy tequila, really buzzing vibe/atmosphere.
Went here for a friend's birthday and got the banquet. The food was nice but nothing stand out, it wasn't too filling but over all I still loved the experience. Will definitely be back again!

I went on a Thursday night as part of a large birthday party who had pre-booked a set menu.
Cafe Pacifico is easily one of the worst value eating experiences in my 30 years dining out in Sydney. $70 (for one) for two small beers, a spirit and four "courses" of poor Mexican style food.
The noise was unbearable, service average at best, and the food has a way to climb to reach something approaching AeroMexico's economy class in-flight disappointments. The prices for two bites at most of each "course" were a gouge, even if the food had approached reasonable quality.
Overall exceptionally poor value, for which I rate it one of 10 stars only because I can not select zero. Courses and serving size per individual involved: 3-4 corn chips and a watery chilli sauce as a starter. 1 over-baked corn ball, burnt, hard and almost cold, 1 two bite corn chip topped with sour cream, beans, tomato and lettuce. 3-4 corn chips of just warm nachos: beans, guacamole, sour cream all spread under a blanket of cold melted solidified cheese.
2 hand size soft self-made tortillas comprising tough meat strips, the same ingredients as above with grated MacDonalds grade cheddar. Neither dessert nor coffee as part of the meal, nor was it offered. The standard of service one might expect in even an Australian restaurant was non-existent, wait staff served food, mixed drinks and that was it.
The venue might appeal to large groups of trashed Gen Y's preferring a pub cum restaurant who seek little in the way of taste, quality, quantity, service or value. Most had to shout across their own table in order to be heard by someone directly opposite. When the noise descended to just a dull roar bar staff played drums and a symbol in order to pump up the volume, to give the impression loud equals fun equals a great venue.
I left hungry and had a bowl of cereal on arriving home at 11 pm. 3 small strips of tough overspiced beef, the only meat served and I fell ill.
Our seating involved wooden benches and the venue's overall vibe I'd describe as Tijuana junk shop meets overcrowded favela cantina. The margarita's might have seen the place gain popular traction with the backpacker crowd when it first opened years ago, although at $70-$80 a jug unsurprisingly few were being mixed.
Cafe Pacifico makes Sydney's domestic airport food offerings seem like fine dining at great value. My overall impression was that the venue's prime objective seems geared to parting large groups of intoxicated inexperienced diners with cash as expeditiously as possible as earlier reviews on this site confirm. Never again.
