Very friendly place with owners working there, good portions with excellent prices. I had a tandoori chicken salad with an excellent amount of chicken (well cooked), yoghurt, salad and tasty dressing for $11. Lots of happy looking students there, and for $8 for flathead and chips, why not?

I have been a customer of this cafe for several years as I work in the area and have always found it to be a nice place to grap a coffee and a bite to eat. In July 2011, the new owner (Chris) makes the best coffee in Ultimo. The food and coffee are excellent and the quality of service and friendly atmosphere are definitely worth going back for. I often take my clients there for breakfast and lunch.

I'm a regular at this cafe and although that may be true, I certainly don't feel like one. I ordered breakfast and waited for 20 minutes for it and when I asked, the owner simply said "Oh, that's what I forgot" and didn't even bother apologizing. Some great service.

I eat breakfasts and lunches here often and am always impressed by the quality of the food and the friendly and efficient service. The menu is simple but innovative and always fresh and carefully presented. The owner is very pleasant and there's relatively little turnover in staff. As a result, there's a level of care and attention to detail that's often missing in other cafes.

I had the char-grilled vegetable salad which was tasty and a good value vegetarian option at $11. I sat outside at one of the two umbrella tables which is nice in summer, but inside has plenty of room, nice chairs and I imagine cozy in winter. Staff are attentive and friendly. I've been told they have great coffee.

I love this Cafe, the staff are extremely friendly and enthusiastic, great atmosphere and the menu has a fantastic range of choices. I go there every morning for my coffee and have lunch there around 3 times per week, my favourite is the Chicken Moroccan salad, can’t get enough of it, the chicken is cooked to perfection and the meal is very filling. Myself and my work, also use them for catering.

My partner and I had lunch here yesterday. We both ordered the Moroccan Chargrilled Salad with Tomato and couscous. The dish sounds lovely, but upon delivery disappointing. In the above description, the cooks/owners forgot to add large copious amounts of iceberg lettuce is served as well. In fact there was so much lettuce, it made the meal a tad unpalatable.

The chicken was not 'chargrilled', in fact it was just served warm, which would indicate the chicken has been prepared earlier and kept warm in an oven or bain marie. The couscous could have had a bit more a zing to it too.

Service was lacking and the blank expressions on their faces indicated they forgot what being hospitable in the hospitality industry is all about. We would not return, as there, unfortunately, was no enthusiasm shown by the staff, nor creativity shown by the kitchen.

We went on Saturday night, and there was six of us we all enjoyed our meals and said it was one of the best restaurants experiences in a long time. Food is perfect could not fault it. Portion sizes are a little small but quality is good.

A regular to this cafe as I work nearly. I think the everyday specials are very good. Love the salad dressing too! Portion is a bit small but for $7 and for the food quality, it's good. Besides, I don't want to eat too much for falling asleep during work!

I've been coming here for years. It's top value, especially for lunch and brekkie, and I keep coming back for the $7 lunch special, especially vegie lasagne on Tuesdays, and the veal parmigiana on Fridays (spag with meatballs also good). Sweet treats also excellent value. My work place also uses the catering regularly, so I can attest to the quality of the food and efficiency of the service.
