We came here on Saturday. I had Egg Benedict and my partner had Big Brekkie. Big Brekkie was okay but the toast and potato rosti weren't good, toast was like supermarket home brand and potato rosti was like frozen hash brown. I definitely don't like my Egg Benedict.

For $17.90 I got 2 eggs, some wilted spinach and a Teeny-tiny piece of smoked salmon on a piece of soggy sourdough (which didn't even taste like sourdough to me). And the hollandaise sauce was tasteless. I would get a Lot better in some expensive cafes by paying that price! It's awful to eat at a place that shows no care in their food!

For customers who like to watch their weight or for those who can't tolerate creamy milk (and get tummy aches, If you're asking for skim milk coffee, you won't get it, as they use lite white and it was only because I saw it and noticed!

The coffee here is fantastic! I recommend sitting out in the courtyard out the back.

The food comes out quickly and the menu is a basic cafe one. The muffins are amazing especially the ricotta and strawberry. The steak sandwich is decent, although the pancakes have no sauce and are quite dry without it. Can be quite busy early sat and sun morning. They do close earlier on weekdays even though it does say 5, I have been there a few times at 4 and they closing for the day.
It is the best cafe within Croydon.

I just spent 20 minutes waiting with 2 small and hungry children and was not approached once by the staff. I went and got my own menu and just left once the 20 minute mark came up. They seem to spend most of their time attending to take away coffees and not to the people who are actually buying a lot more than a coffee!

Lovely service from Magdalena. We sat there for a couple of hours over coffee and they were very gracious. Thanks.

The food here was the winner for me. I've been there for a sunday morning brunch with friends and all enjoyed the food.

This little village cafe has great food and service. Perfect for a weekend brunch and the wine list is not bad either!

Have been to this cafe twice. The first was some time ago as I forgot how down right rude the staff who runs this joint was. The food was ok, but the portions were miniscule while paying almost 50 dollars for two servings of bacon, eggs and toast, what a total rip off.

The service from the staff and sidekick was intimidating as they watched us as we ate and approached our table and snapped if anything was wrong. Apparently I looked at the sidekick the wrong way.

So terrible, don't go here. Croydon is a lovely little place, it just needs some lovely little cafes to run these awful people out of there.

Very quaint cafe. Theres a nice outdoor area out back where I can have a nice meal with my baby. I was also delightfully surprised to discover the cafe is under new ownership with a new head chef. The owner was very polite when I met him. I wasn't as impressed with the previous senior staffs service. She was a bit rude.

So unimpressed! I have been here about 10 times now (for lack of competition, I never go willingly!). The coffee is always burnt. The service is bordering on rude, and very inattentive. Today we had the lemon tart which had a hair on the top and a light showering of dust, it also tasted well past it, was strangely claggy, and was a tiny wedge for the exorbitant price.

We paid and left, then the rude senior staff came chasing out after us claiming we hadn't paid properly, um they had undercharged us $2. We didn't do it deliberately. Their mistake and their rudeness, we sure aren't going back there.
