It was a nice day so the whole family decided to come down to Manly for some lunch. Brisa was our pick and we were glad of it. Food was great with a definitely affordable lunch menu and portions were good for lunch. Service was fast despite the restaurant being full. Will be back.
Ate here with a group of 4. We had the snapper, the trout, the veal and a fisherman's basket. The fish was perfectly cooked and the servings were ample. This was important as there's nothing worse than paying $27 for a dish and getting a kids sized meal. Service here was attentive and friendly. I often eat in Manly and in the past have missed this place. I will be back!
Nicely looking Cafe with friendly staff. Food is absolutely great too. For an entree, my partner and I shared the Whitebait Fritters. For a main my partner had the Seafood plate for One, I had the Fettuccine Gamberoni. Both meals were absolutely delicious and all the seafood tasted fresh. Definitely a winner!
Recently my friends and I went to visit Manly beach during one of the many hot summer days. After a long day lazing at the beach, the sun had set and we decided to find somewhere to unwind and have a meal. We decided to dine at this cosy Cafe we discovered whilst walking along the beach.
Firstly I have to say that the staff are notably attentive and friendly, the service is nothing less than excellent and the food is just yum. Last time I went was last week and had BBQ king prawns (that sauce!) for starters, followed by the yellow fin tuna steak, cooked Cajun style. It goes perfectly well with the contrasting mint sauce.
Take my word for it and don’t miss this place next time you're in Manly, I know I won't.
We have been a few times and spent our NYE before the countdown at Brisa and loved it! Great value offered to us unlike the other overpriced places in Manly. I really enjoyed the variety offered by the seafood platter. And our scallops mornay were delightful too.
Poor service. The boss was really mean and intimidating. I ordered the fish and chips for $10.90 but I wanted it to be grilled. The waiter didn't tell me that it was going to be $18.50 just to have it grilled. I don't recommend going here.
I came here for brunch and I can't say I would return again. Juices came straight out of a carton (you could tell because you ordered the juice and it came within 30 seconds with ice), the sauce for the eggs benedict seemed to come straight out of a jar (a big no no for me) and the spinach corn fritters, as I remember it, were simply two round fritters without any garnish. Expensive for what it was and I doubt I'd ever return again to sample the menu.
This cafe's food is nothing short of superb. I took my family and my in-laws out for a meal and we truly enjoyed our experience here. It's a genuine family business, we actually were acknowledged here with a smile and they catered to our needs for changing a few orders around. I had to ask for an extra piece of bread so soak up every drop the yummy napoletana sauce the black mussels were in. We had a great experience. Highly recommended.
