Went there last week, have not been in a while. they have changed the menu as it was too big, was very impressed. Delicious food and really nice staff.

Its our second home, we love Cafe Bondi although one senior staff there could do with seeming to enjoy what she does and to try and genuinely like her customers, otherwise she should probably do some other work.

Great value! with the most delicious seafood main courses, a favourite is the seafood bisque (name does not do it justice). Fresh seafood in a clean broth filled with divine veggies. Also the Lamb Souvlaki is a favourite with all of my friends! A peerfct place to go with the family as our weekly ritual. Highly recommended for those who enjoy good healthy food and friendly easy going atmosphere as a change to the highly pretentious, over priced and over sugared options out there leaving you feeling satisfied rather than sick.

We had dinner here last year and it was good. Unfortunately, the service and the food have deteriorated. My rump steak was tough, and my husband's lamb ribs were fatty. We had to ask for water, and when the glasses were brought to the table they were wet. Water served at the table was not chilled, in fact it served at a warm day's room temperature.

We were not offered coffee or dessert after our main courses by our waiter, and after we were ignored for a long time, the manager finally came over and took our coffee orders. He suggested milk shakes but did not offer desserts. With so many other good options for dining around, the management here is going to have to kick things up a notch, and work hard on training the wait staff.

Cafe Bondi is one of our locals but we hadn't been there in a while. We returned tonight with our 3 year old, his friend and 2 babies and the staff were great. They were very accommodating, did not mind the prams and gave our boys crayons and paper to keep them entertained. The food was also fantastic. It was definitely our most enjoyable and relaxing night out with the kids in ages.

I go there every fortnight with my partner we love it!. My favourites are the Chicken Parmigana and Veal Scaloppini, everything on the menu is delicious! The smoothies are great! I love it eating there as a couple, it means that we are always by the window.

The Service is also super friendly and very attentive! The bill is always under $70 for 2 people including mains, beverages, desserts, tea and my occasional dairy free smoothie! Its best to make a reservation as you will get a window table (if booking is for 2 people). It has a very stylish and smart ambience with a candle at each table. Everyone must go there and try it out for themselves!

My only complaint is the look of exasperation from the staff when they had to accommodate 3 people and 2 prams. We after all did all the pram pushing and re-arranging. Surely for a weekday afternoon, with the place near on empty it didn't warrant an eye rolling. I'm not blind. Assistance would have been nice.

I live around the corner from this store and this is my local, it’s a little more up market than the Bondi one with a slightly older cliental. The specials are amazing and their coffee is to match. I have now eaten at both times enough to say it's one of my favourite places to eat out and or chill in Sydney. It’s a great lunch time business meeting venue with their free internet at Rosebay. It helps to book at night although I have never been turned away………. Happy dining.

Portions are large but watch out, I always feels sick after eating here. Same as Bondi one, friend said maybe its from palm oil, don't know but it looks good but not so good after all.

Went to Cafe Bondi Rosebay on Saturday night for my husbands birthday. More of a friends/family venue than an intimate romantic restaurant but had an amazing time. Menu choices are great with pasta, salads, meat, snacks, etc. I had a fillet steak and my husband had a pasta. Huge serving of pasta, had to take away home. 2 main meals plus a soft drink each and a milkshake came to $60! Value for money indeed. Planning to take friends there next week.
