Had a great dinner tonight booked through Dimmi. The staff were just exceptional. Big shout out to Matt and Ruby who made the night. I have found so few places that can really prepare pasta without having it overcooked and gluggy by the time it arrives. Buzzz made the best linguine with prawns and were able to accommodate specific vegeterian requests without the pretention that so many other establishments display. Big shout out to Matt and Ruby who really went above and beyond to make it a wonderful evening which was really just a simple dinner with friends. Highly recommended.

Get them to read your order back to you! The missed out on two of our items, one came differently to what we ordered and the other never came. So get them to read your order back to you. Nice decor, initially polite. They need to do their banking more often as they asked me to exchange their twenties in their till with tenners I had in my wallet. Weird, especially as I have never been there before.

I have been a few times and every time I have been it's been great. The atmosphere was lovely, the dips and turkish bread were amazing and I loved the back smoking area.

Now, I don't think I'd want to go again. The last time I went, it took a while for the waiter to come take our orders. I ordered a sandwich melt and my friend ordered nachos. 40 minutes had passed and neither of the meals had arrived. My friend went to ask for her order and the waiter said that the order had dropped on the floor in the kitchen and was forgot about. About 10 minutes later, I went to ask about my sandwich melt. The waiter told me that it wasn't even written down. It was so frustrating because he was writing something down when I had ordered it and it was on the same paper as my friends order.

I just told them not to bother with it and I didn't want it anymore. Horrible service, smoking area is gone. Buzzzbar has let me down.

I've been here three times so far and each time the coffee has been quite good. The cake is amazing, particularly the chocolate flourless. The place is open fairly late so its good to drop in for dessert after a meal out or a visit to the cinema. You may want to share the cake though because it is quite rich. The staff are attentive and friendly. In one instance I was walking past on Christmas eve in the morning and thought I'd drop in for a coffee I walk up to the front door, saw the opening times stated that it wouldn't be open for another 20mins or so. As I started walking off down the street, a friendly waiter came out and said he would be happy to set me up with some coffees. Only bummer is they don't have eftpos, so make sure you grab some cash first.

Great selection of yummy cakes including things like flourless choc cupcakes, lime tart and cheesecakes. Coffee is consistently good and staff are friendly (they can be a little flakey at times but hey, its Newtown!).

Terrible. We had a group of ten and when asked if we could use the large table told that they were too busy. So then after separating our group because we could not find a restaurant near by big enough, were subjected to disappointing service, overpriced food, my friend ordered the cheese on turkish toast. Toasted, not really. Cheese, hardly. No garnishes. Cheese as tasty as cardboard. Bread stale.?!

I've never eaten a full meal here but the desserts and dip platter they do are really good. I enjoy stopping in for a drink if I'm shopping along King Street. It's a nice place to sit and the service is friendly and relaxed. I also had the nicest milkshake I've ever drunk in there yesterday!

The food is always good, the cheesecake and strawberry tart are to die for! The staff are great and the cafe has a lovely warm feel to it, perfect. Except I find it to be quite pricey, and I rarely go there just for dessert anymore (but I do give in to temptation every now and then) because 2 coffees and 2 cakes came to nearly $30 which is just too much, for that money I can get a meal but, despite that I keep on coming back. Its one of the 'better' cafes in newtown, and it deserves its praise!
