A little mixed with here. Service was very average, don't know if the girl really even spoke fluent english or even understood it.

As for the food we tried a Lemon Meringue (great but pastry was rock hard), ricotta cheesecake (awesome) and some ice cream (average). I would come back for the cheesecake and maybe for something else, but there are many better choices with the city limits.

Only go to this place for the food! The best bakery in Sydney IMO, everything doesn't look that great, but trust me, everything is simply delicious! This place only falls short on the service, the woman who either owns it or heads it is extremely rude (you'll know her when you see her), and the other staff are very in your face, not rude, but asking if you need help constantly, very on edge, etc.

Also if you eat in they will charge you extra, the first time I went here the horrible lady actually tried to force my boyfriend and myself out because we hadn't paid an extra $5 to eat in or something (she could have told us before!) and the atmosphere isn't very nice anyway, would definitely prefer eating the treats in the car or the sidewalk!

But literally, the food is the best. Don't be fooled by it looking less than fantastic, it is literally some of the most amazing stuff you will ever taste. I go there often and just get a few strange different treats and they never fail to be anything less than amazing. Give it a try if you're in the area. It's just such a pity the service and the actual restaurant atmosphere isn't nearly as incredible as the treats.

Great feel about this place which reminded me a little of a N.York cafe I once sat in. As the name suggests its busy with a constant flow of customers lining up to purchase take-away cakes, breads or biscuits. I didn't think much of their coffee since my cap was served as a flat white with a blob of froth on top. Not the place if you are seeking a relaxing, quiet coffee or tea with cake break. Takeaway seems the best option here.
