I've only ever been to this place for breakfast but it's on my short list for a reliable big breakfast that's a fair price.
My partner and I eat breakfast here a bit on saturdays and we can always find a table in the sun (maybe it's just our luck!). I like them for their simple yet filling and basic food. Nothing flashy but worth your buck and pretty much exactly what you would expect. Our one surprise was a croissant that was the size of a small mountain!
Have only been there twice however, on the 2nd time the waiter not only remembered us but remembered the wine we drank! In a city as large as Sydney, I found that exceptional! The food is lovely and the service compliments it greatly.
I think there are new owners. There has been a significant decline in quality of food and service. Rude waiting staff and an unacceptable wait for food. Veal wasn't too bad but noted the menu hadn't changed for 1 year plus. Very disappointed as this used to be a regular favourite.
The waiters were kind enough to give the rest of our party directions via my mobile, as they were from QLD. The food was superb, and staff fantastic. The tiramisu is to die for....Would recommend.
I've been here twice now, once for a Valentine's Day meal for 2 and once for a farewell for 10 ppl... both times we had good servcie and the food is beautiful! Can't go past the Crocodile salad (though the serving could be a little bigger) and the Grilled seafood platter for one is scruptious and an absolute bargain! The platter is overflowing with fresh seafood and nothing deep fried! A winner for sure!!
Beautiful restaurant and really nice food! Very friendly staff and good value for money...would recommend to anyone who like to have a really nice dinner! :)
Beautiful Italian food, friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere. Very reasonably priced & BYO!! Great place for a date or to go to with a group of friends. Generously sized portions. Try the Veal Bosciola, to die for.
Very Good. Service was a tad too attentive but it was a quiet night for them. The veal Boscaiola was devine, concentrating on quality rather than quantity. Plenty of veges on side - served with all mains, house wine good. Great value considering so many overpriced restaurants in similar proximity to Oxford St.
