The food was very good with a wonderful combination of flavors. We enjoyed everything we tried. Prices were good for a pretty big selection. Ambience was well decorated and comfortable and the noise level was acceptable. They were clearly understaffed, but the staff did what they could to accommodate.

Recently purchased a spreets offer and was very let down. Saved about $5 on what we would have spent anyway and we could have done that a lot closer to home! The voucher was very ambiguous and implied a much better deal. Normally vouchers have been good value but don't buy offers from this restaurant.

Worst value Thai meal ever had in Sydney. Small portions, bland, tough and unappetising. Only good feature was outdoor seating. Plus they overcharged - how hard is it to get the bill right.

We went to Bungalow Thai with a Spreets deal which get us an entree, 2 main, 2 desserts and 2 soft drink and rice (you can't order juice, or get a BYO instead).

The food was actually very good. I ordered the salt pepper squid for entree, duck curry and seafood pad cha for main. The duck curry was amazing, and full of flavour. The portion was quite big. The two of us normally ate a lot, and we left the restaurant feeling very full.

Dessert was two served of vanilla ice cream. Service was a bit lacking, considering the price and the location of the restaurant. The restaurant itself has a nice decor, but it was too packed when we were there. I would consider going back to this place for the Duck Curry!

I went to this restaurant under the $39 Spreets deal. The deal was "one entrée to share, any two mains and any two traditional Thai desserts Plus choose two drinks", normally worth $90. I'll start with some points about the deal itself. Firstly, drinks were only soft drinks from the menu, and tea/coffee was not allowed even though they were the same price.

Secondly, the only dessert available was vanilla ice cream, which I don't think is what you'd call "traditional". Thirdly, no matter how hard you try, the food included in the deal would not add to $90 (max $13 entree, $20x2 mains, $3x2 rice, $3.50x2 drinks), unless you assume that a small portion of ice cream (not on the menu) is $12 each, which I thought was a bit misleading. Fortunately, rice was included as part of the deal, and we still got to enjoy their food for a discounted price.

So onto the main review. The restaurant had nice decor and lighting, and it definitely would be good for a night out. However, the phone was ringing virtually non stop, and the fact that only one waiter was there made the service slower than what it could have been. However, I thought the waiter did a good job considering the circumstances. There were about 6-7 couples dining all up, which I believe most were there under the same deal.

Regarding portions, they were a lot smaller than an average Thai restaurant, especially the entree. I was not sure if this was because we came under a Spreets deal or if this their normal portions, but I would feel cheated if I had paid the full price for these items.

The food itself was quite good. We chose some salt and pepper squid, seafood stir fries with rice, and duck salad. The coconut flavour in the duck salad was quite addictive.

In all, would I come again? Not for their full menu price, but I would consider it if I get a 25% discount. But for similar prices, I would definitely go somewhere else in Crows Nest or in Neutral Bay. However, the food was good so I hope they lower their prices, so that more people would give it a go.
