Noisy and very dirty little place that is poorly run. Ordered from the tapas menu, and was alarmed to receive an assortment of very poor grade food, all clearly reheated directly from the fridge in a microwave, with the food having that very obvious "soft and melted" feel to it.

Service was slow and unnattentive, with the mobile phones of the staff getting tip top attention. A shame that such a venue can still exist in one of Australia's top tourist destinations. It embarrasses us all. Please lift your game, Bungabar.

Terrible place, possibly the food is the worst in Sydney, awful service as well, obviously backpackers working, rude, slow and dirty. Could have been a cool place such a shame!

The food was some of the worst mexican I have tried, far from the original. The only good thing about this place is some of the drinks and the setting, but as an authentic mexican? stay away.

Well priced jugs of beer are the highlight. And the open nature of the bar onto Hall St is pretty cool. However, the food is pretty average and extremely non-authentic, and the service is friendly when it comes but slow and inattentive.

Not at all local, but I always make time to visit the Bungabar when I'm in Sydney - something terribly good in that Jungle Juice...

This should not be classified as a restaurant, it may be a good bar and cocktail place. Great website but they have not listed the menu, as they only have eight or so items on the menu and call it mexican/spanish. Foods very ordinary, we were served warm coronas, it was noisy and the place was balmy as anything. If you are after dinner and a chat I would not recommend this.

I have been a Bondi local for years and can honestly say that this is THE BEST bar in Bondi, if not Sydney. Theres way too many commercialised places around, Bunga is relaxed and kicked back - best cocktails!!
