We found this lovely restaurant to be quite a surprise. Hidden behind the facade of a "regular pub" is a really well appointed and well run restaurant. The food was interesting and delicious and the service was excellent. We thoroughly recommend this venue for just a dinner or for a special celebration like we had!

Wow! My local hotel has had a makeover & it's fabulous. The old bistro has been converted into a lovely restaurant & the food is incredible! We went in for a bar meal & the Juice Lucy (burger) was awesome. Came back the following week & dined in the Restaurant - Pork Belly entree to die for & the Rib Eye on the bone was melt in your mouth. My husband & I couldn't resist the Raspberry Souffle to finish off - amazing! Don't think everyone knows about this place yet, but I don't mind sharing! Hooray for the Bridgeview Hotel!

A mate who live up the road said we should check out the new bistro and wine bar. I hadn't been in a while but to be honest wasn't expecting much and walking up it didn't look like much had changed. Inside is completely different story. The ram-shackled, mix matched wine bar is cool and a good place for a cheeky quiet one.

We enjoyed two courses, my girl had a dessert and was blown away by the quality. I had an eye fillet which was pretty much 10/10 which had a carefully presented potato side and pea puree. I was really happy to be able to choose a sauce of which I chose pepper. It was seasoned generously which I enjoy. Bummed I didn't have a souffle which by all intents and purposes is of the standard found generally in a 2 hat restaurant. Nice effort.

I went here for lunch last week after a few months of holidays away from Sydney. I used to eat here reasonably regularly as it's the local pub, but now I'll be bringing friends in from across the bridge. Both my partner and I had the Wagyu Steak and both were perfectly cooked. We shared a raspberry soufflé for dessert and again, pure perfection. Can't wait to try everything on the menu.

I ate here last night in the new restaurant. The food was superb! I had the Pork Belly entree and the slow roasted lamb shoulder pie for my main. The later was one of the tastiest meals I have ever had and that is before I got onto dessert! The service was great and the place is looking fantastic with the new refurbs. Very excited to have this little gem in my backyard!

Felt like 1979. Used to come here regularly back around 2000 and was a popular spot but really seems to have gone downhill. Food was pretty bad, layout seemed dated, even the pokies were old.

Everytime I come here the layout is different. Always easy to park. Plenty of normal pub grub on the menu and the right price. Can be crowded on a Friday night. Great for a parmy and a beer.

Food is much better than it used to be, good daily specials offer very reasonably priced meals. The decor has been re-vamped, and the seating is now more modern.

The food is terrible!! Don't order food half an hour before they stop serving as the kitchen staff makes you feel like you have asked them to do overtime. Good locals pub, needs refurb but it would be nice if they could keep some of the character of this old pub.
