Had dinner here the other day. The regular table service is ok. The pretty waitresses come round and ask you if you want drinks and the like. They're pretty generous with the servings of salads but not enough on the chili. One small platter of chili per 4 or 5 people is just not enough. The service of the brazilian bbq is great. The guys and girls serving these hot and heavy chunks of meat on skewers are friendly and efficient.
The salads/sides are ok. Fried cassava, green leaf salad and a potato salad. Some salsa, chili and grated casava also come along with it. Nothing too brilliant. The bbq skewers come at regular intervals. Don't worry, you won't go hungry. Its all you can eat. The meat is well cooked. Succulent even. The problem is that each cut of beef, pork and chicken has too much salt.
After the first few servings the salt just became too much. The prawns and fish were the best part of the meal. The grilled cheese came a close 2nd. The value is reasonable if you do plan on eating meat for an hour or so. I would just prefer that the meat wasn't over seasoned. Also expected a bit more from the sides.
We had dinner here last week and it was fantastic - best Brazilian BBQ I have ever had. The service was great with really friendly staff, all very attentive and helpful with explanations. Prices were reasonably high which was expected but I definitely felt I had value for money. Great restaurant for parties, and I would highly recommend it for the serious carnivore!
A group of us Portuguese language students went to Braza at the end of the course a few weeks back. This is a meat-eater's paradise. You can sample many kinds of grilled meat and have as many portions as you can handle. My favourite was the chicken. There are ample sides of veges, tapioca chips and condiments. So don't eat anything for hours beforehand or you will regret it.
Service was excellent, lots of waiters moving around. You can order imported Brazilian beer to go with your meal and there are some great desserts available too. It can get noisy so this is best for a group event.
A group of 7 of us ate here last night and it was one of the most enjoyable meals I have ever had in Sydney. The food was amazing, everything perfectly cooked and great tasting. The beef was the standout, every slice was a melt in your mouth sensation!
The staff were very attentive (and very easy on the eye). They all seemed so eager to please us. When one of the male servers wasn't sure of the correct English answer to one of our questions, he dashed off to the bar to find out the right answer! Good no worries service!! The total for dinner for 7 was $400 including a decent tip and everyone of us left completely satisfied! We will be back!!!
Wow wow wow! Food and service was excellent and if you're a big eater, you definitely get your moneys worth!! Both times I've been here it’s been with a large group of 15-20 and everyone raved about it! I'm off for my 3rd Braza experience this weekend :)
The food and service are very good. However, the wine is quite pricey. We had couple bottles of $35 wine. I have had better wine that I paid $5 for. If this was a BYO restaurant, it would be excellent value for money. As it is, it is average value for money.
Best restaurant in Sydney! The only problem is that it's getting so popular you really need to book ahead. I have eaten here twice already and I'm already planning my next feast.
The main reason you would come here? Well, the food is the highlight. Absolutely sensational. Meat cooked to perfection. The best chicken thigh fillet I have ever had. The best lamb I've ever had. The Caipirinhas (yum!) were a revelation to me as I had never had one before. The cassava chips were brilliant. Basically, the food as a whole is incredible.
The service? I've never seen such a wonderful bunch of young people be so happy to work. They help to give Braza a wonderful ambiance. As for value, just make sure you don't eat lunch before you go to Braza for dinner and you'll get plenty. Just the sides would cost a lot more in a regular restaurant. By the way, children under four are free and above four pay half (I have a 4 and a 6 year old and they loved the food). Did I mention the pickled chillies?
Best churrasco place in Sydney! I was here a few weeks ago and the food is delicious, the pork, the lamb, the beef, the chicken, the prawns and the fish! all cooked perfectly and we ate until we couldn't eat anymore! The wine list is a bit exxy for a good wine but the cocktails are delicious. High recommended.
Went to Braza on saturday night and had the best time at restaurant that I would of had. When the brazilian dancer and the african guy came I put my hand up I began to dance with a married woman the guy said I wish I had a son like you as I am 13 years old.
Service was appaling. Although our whole table of 6 arrived and were seated at the same time there was a 40 minutes delay waiting for our salads and drinks. The waiters would not serve us drinks or meat until we received our salads which I feel was unneccessary.
Our drink orders were forgotten and they wouldn't make me a mocktail, in the end I had to order a cocktail off the menu and request they don't add the alcohol. The food once it eventually came was very good and the cassava chips were very popular!
I think it was good value for money but the service needs improving!!
