I have been to Bosq twice now, and both times were with discounted vouchers. However, the food was just simply amazing, could not fault it at all. Ambience was great I felt I was at a very casual relaxed cafe/restaurant but when we got the food it felt like a 5 star eatery. The mixture of the 2 created a good experience, it can get cold when you sit near the split glass window but thats what a jackets for.

Service was great, the waiter/waitresses were walking around constantly giving eye contact and checking if things were ok, if we needed their attention it was easy to get it, they were very alert. As for value, I had discounted vouchers so I didn't pay full price, I have seen the menu and the prices seem decent for what you get, I don't mind the prices because the food is great and you get your moneys worth. Will be returning very soon.

Used a coupon and came and had dinner at Bosq. Food was plentiful and great. Loved the grilled Haloumi and all the dips. Couldn't finish the meat plate and had a couple glasses of wine with dinner and it was all fine. It was real value for money and would happily go back to Bosq if in the area.

We had breakfast at Bosq cafe and enjoyed the food. We arrived at 11.50 am and the waiter at the front door had to check if we could be served breakfast or not. Yes we could, so we went in expecting to be served quickly as the breakfast was about to finish. However, after we were seated we were pretty much ignored for 5 minutes or more until menus were brought and a drinks order taken, we were then ignored for another 10-15 minutes until a waitress coming back inside asked if we had been looked after.

I think the only reason she stopped was the look on my face (we were discussing the likelihood of our drinks arriving any time soon). We then ordered our breaky which arrived quite quickly and was quite tasty. We both had the Spanish Armada, with well cooked eggs, strong tasty chorizo, good mushrooms and great potatoes. Hubby says the coffee was good too.

Even thought the service was non existent and the tables and chairs needed a good wipe down etc. I would possibly go back because the food was good and not too expensive (for breakfast).

We went to Bosq after buying a deal on a group deal website, so we were pleased customers even before we entered the front door. Unfortunately our evening didn't continue in the same vein.

The food is good, and some of it great (the grilled haloumi) it's just everything else lets them down. Lots of little things that took away from our general dining experience:

    - the dividing glass right next to our table was quite dirty, as was the bottom of our glasses.
    - the head waiter, while organised, wasn't friendly and was bossy to his other staff in a way that made us slightly uncomfortable.
    - the deal that we had bought included 3 tapas plates and a main, and we were only offered 2 of the 3 tapas plates. We didn't make a fuss as we were already full, but it doesn't help our opinion of them.

Had they got the 'little things' right, we would have definitely been repeat customers, which, one would assume is the aim when restaurants sign up to the deal sites. Shame that the front of house staff is letting the kitchen down at Bosq.

We have a 12 week old bub & decided to have an early dinner (save other patrons from bub's crying later in the night). Very family orientated - they even have family nights! They welcomed us in and happily accommodated the pram. Service was great & the food was Delicious - We had the calamari, Paella & Chicken wrapped in Bacon. Very happy to go again.

I wouldn't recommend Bosq. My salmon was overcooked and burnt and the potatoes were still hard. I didn't bother staying for dessert. The service is average and little things like music were missing. Wasn't money well spent.

The layout of this restaurant is a little unusual, as most of the sitting is in an enclosed outdoor area. It didn't feel as cosy as the back end, almost like an apartment patio.

We made a last minute booking and managed to squeeze in. When we arrived we were seated at the front of the restaurant near the front 'door', which was understandable. There was an outdoor lantern heater nearby, but a group asked for it to be switched off. Unfortunately, the staff didn't ask the two tables closer to the door whether they minded, we were left in the cold.

It took a while for our order to be taken. We ordered from the tapas menu and normally we would have expected them to arrive progressively. Instead, it all arrived at once. Given that there were some big tables arriving, we understood that the kitchen wanted to get our docket out of the way.

The food overall was good. The haloumi and dips were the highlights and chorizo was worth a mention. The prawns lacked the garlic and chili punch you expect from a tapas dish. Finally, the lamb-potato-spinach hash looked great, but was lacking any flavour. It took a while for the bill to arrive, when asked, but by then the restaurant was full and demanding. A good restaurant, but not quite the Morrocon/Spanish feast what we were after.

This restaurant and it's food is a great find. We've been there twice since it opened and the food is really tasty without being stodgy. It inspired us to experiment with different herbs with our cooking. It's not cheap but we enjoyed their authentic foods.

I had the pleasure of dining at Bosq Cafe a couple of times recently and found the food to be fresh and delicious and the service extremely friendly and very efficient. The menu has plenty of variety and my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. One of my friends cannot eat gluten so our waiter should be commended on his patient explanation of the gluten-free items on the menu.

My friend was highly impressed! Also, their coffee is fabulous! Bosq is a great and very welcome addition to the Majors Bay Road dining strip and is fast becoming a favourite! My family, friends and I will definitely be going back again and again!
