Quality of food not as fresh as it once was, new staff all the time which means that good level of service that was once there no longer. Been disappointed the last couple of times!

As far as I am concerned, it's about the best Charcoal Chicken from gordon to Drummoyne. The Roast Pork Roll with crackling is particularly appetising!

I love the chicken and salads from this place if I can get there in time to get my hands on one!! It is a great pity they are always running out of chickens by about 6.30. The 1/4 chicken with 3 salads is great value with enough for 2 in the huge portions. Worth the mad dash to get the precious last chicken!

Ambience for takeaway charcoal chicken? you'd think that all charcoal chicken places are the same right??? Wrong, this place is buzzing, and if you come at 6-7pm, you won't get a chook, they invaribly sell out every single day. So come early! it's worth it!

The BBQ Chicken here is always good.
I know the chicken skin is bad for you but is always tastes so good.

The 1/4 Chicken pack with 3 salads is good value. You can pick any three salads you want. There is enough chicken in the pack for a salad the next day.

Charcoal chicken is as subjective as ‘who makes the best pizza’. But this place is good. The original proprietor Tony, knew his chickens. He opened the shop about 10 years ago and it was an instant success. But he retired passing Boronia onto his son-in-law. While the closely guarded secret of roasting charcoal chickens was passed on, business savvy and planning weren’t. The one thing the place is reliable for is running out of chickens.

Chickens are large and plump, stuffed and cooked over a genuine charcoal fire. You get that lovely smoky BBQ flavor. There’s a huge range of salads and roast potatoes as well as the mandatory chips. And beef and pork rolls – truly delicious.

But there’s always a down side, had a 15 minute wait today which oddly stretched to 40 minutes at lunchtime. Having had the shop for about 3 years he doesn’t know what his selling patterns are.

This is a classic example of an excellent product and woeful business acumen. If you want help counting chickens, I’ll come and lend you my fingers. You’d do a hell of a lot better if you didn’t run out all of the time and you actually sold chickens when people want to buy them.
