The views are great and is a good place for a relaxing lunch, ordered the calamari and only wished there were more as I found it to be portioned small. One of us ordered the risotto and was ready by the time everyone had almost finished their mains, it was quite tasty when it finally came out so it was worth the wait. Will be back for another lazy lunch.

When your waiter has a filthy white jacket on and even the cuffs of his shirt are soiled heavily, it puts you off from the start. Needs a makeover, I was disappointed. Food Ok but I had great expectations of a special experience, didn't happen. I can think of many other places in Sydney to dine and I live here. Not a tourist. The cafe downstairs is better value.

Casual dining place with great views of the beach. Was there recently with the women in my family for a Friday lunch. Food was tasty with ample sized portions. Service was fast, food was ready within 10 minutes of ordering. Prices are good for a bistro. Lots of families there despite the weather being cold and rainy, a gloomy day. We were lucky to find parking infront.

I think some reviewers have this Bistro confused with the Icebergs Dining Room upstairs - 2 totally different places. This place is very casual, very family orientated and fun. Great place to watch the sunset while enjoying a beer and a snack.

When it takes 1 hour 20 minutes between started and main there is something wrong in the kitchen, and then the piece of fish that was served was bland and any intern chef could have done better.

Absolute waste of time. Food and service extremely disappointing not to mention overpriced! Safe to say that I won't be returning or recommending.

Good food - although steak was med-rare, not med as ordered. Main took one hour, then wait staff apologised and advised kitchen was going to re-do as they felt the pork was overdone. Presented one half slice of bruscetta each to compensate for delay. Tables much too close to each other - impossible to have private conversation. Owners need to seriously review seating and pricing - particularly wine prices. 2-hats? No, I don't think so.

Shockingly bad! ‘Icebergs’ seems to be all about Icebergs - the institution and not about the food. White tablecloths and fantastic views are no substitute for good service and good food. The cocktail staff were excellent; efficient, friendly and courteous. However, our waitress in the restaurant and the manager were the exact opposite. The waitress was having a bad day and it seemed that customers in general and our table in particular were the cause of her distress. She had an accent so strong that she was unintelligible. The food when it eventually came (I won’t go into to the mix ups with the orders) was ‘absolutely-average’, a C+ at best. How this place got two chef's hats is beyond me. Eating out is about enjoyment not just of the food (although good food is obviously paramount). It is also about the people involved in preparing and delivering the food to you. A good restaurant should exude a passion for food and pass that passion and enthusiasm on to its patrons. Icebergs exudes pretension and mediocrity; I would not suffer another meal here even if I was paid to do so!

Ambience was fabulous, how can you go wrong with such a great location. However, service was slow even for a Sunday afternoon. The selection of food was good, certainly not value. Probably not go again.

Initially I was impressed with the service and selection of food. However, after having found a hair in my spinach, my opinion dropped. After sending the food back and getting a replacement to find what can only be described as a short and curly ginger hair in my second lot of spinach. Whether or not this is a case of Bondi humour or kitchen staff arrogance I can safely say, I will never dine here again, nor suggest it to anyone. Dined June 2010.

Club Bistro, We come here with the kids every couple of months. The view is excellent and the kids never get sick of watching the surf action from the balcony. The food is 'Club' food and that's ok for the purpose. We often just have a burger which not much can go wrong with. Reasonably priced and easy for a family.
