My wife and I eat here regularly. It is one of our favourite restaurants in Bondi. The menu has all the Hungarian favourites but a number of other great choices as well. Best Schnitzel in Bondi, amazing veal shanks, Hungarian Goulash, roasted duck etc. Great service and food is consistently very good. Desserts are also amazing, we love the mixed berry crepes. Highly recommend this place.

I have been here a couple of time to get coffee then decided to go for breakfast with friends we got there and were told we had to sit outside (that was fine) but they couldn't put the blinds down because he didn't want to get a ladder out during lunch... we ordered the Hungarian breakfast which was way over seasoned and filled with egg shell then when asked for another coffee was told I was being rude because I had to get up to ask.

We became aware of this restaurant through a deal offered on JumpOnIt. Our family group of 7, who all have a passion for Hungarian food, ate there on a Sunday evening. The experience exceeded our expectations. The food was as good and tasty, if not better in some respects, as any Hungarian restaurant we have eaten at in Sydney over the years and was well worth the drive from the North Shore.

The serving sizes were generous, the prices most reasonable and the service outstanding. The waitress was exceptionally competent. The Hungarian garlic bread (Langos) served with sour cream and garlic on the side was by far the best we have experienced. We had duck, veal schnitzel and chicken paprika dishes all of which were superb but particularly so the duck. The desserts generally were nice and rounded off the meal well.

The restaurant was very accommodating when it came to changing the accompaniments to the main courses. The nokedli as a requested accompaniment was first class. We had sides of creamed spinach and cucumber salad which were very tasty. We will definitely be returning there and recommending it to our friends.

I was looking forward to dining here after friends raved about it. Overall the experience was good. Service was great. The food was good, not to my taste but overall the group enjoyed it. The best thing was the Hungarian garlic bread which is deep fried lavosh served with sour cream and garlic sauce.

My friends polsihed off the schnitzel and veal shanks. Creamed spinach was very tasty. I am a spice girl thus I found the pork fillets a little bland. However, my friend who tried some of my dish loved it. I will give it another go as I want to try the beef cheeks.

Fairly casual, family atmosphere dining experience. Lots of German and eastern european customers dining the night we went there. BYO and also great value. The lovely couple who run this place seem to work very hard but the standards they maintain are great. Not fine dining but certainly good value and great food. Recommend that braised beef.

Authentic Hungarian food. Nothing to be blown away by, but not a bad choice for some tasty comfort food at a good price for large servings. This is a good choice if you are after some Hungarian dishes. Desserts are really good. We often take away some extra desserts. The Vargabeles and Somloi are superb.

We recently stumbled across this small local restaurant from recommendations. The hungarian dishes are excellent. The staff is super friendly and are happy to help you make the hard decision of what to choose from so many great dishes. Its a favorite place of my and my girlfriend and we love the lavosh which is served with garlic and sour cream, a hungarian garlic bread. Very tasty!
