The best part about this restaurant is its service. It's attentive, personable, and never pushy. Unfortunately, the food didn't match.

We've found the pizzas from here to be too dry, lacking in flavour, and inconsistent. The salads were a bit small, and were too salty and oil-laden.

The pizzas are clearly popular, with lots of take-away orders, but I am afraid I struggle to understand why. There are better options pizza elsewhere in Sydney.

We ate here in a wet and dreary weeknight and were the only eat in customers all night. There was a steady stream of take away-ers, showing the pizza is popular in these parts.

The tiled dining room lacks a lot in ambience, but the service was friendly and professional all night.

We had various prawn dishes for entree which were good, heavy on the oil, but deliberately so. The garlic bread had a great texture, but was too salty and had a slightly odd flavour I couldn't put my finger on. It was also dripping with oil, it could have been turned down a little on the drip-meter.

Mains we had pasta, chicken, and a margerita pizza. Everyone enjoyed their mains, the pizza was medium crust thickness and was tasty, but not quite up to wood-fired think crust standards.

For dessert we tried the frozen packaged desserts, the bacio and rockmelon, both were nice enough. It's a basic and friendly pizzeria, decent value, I'd happily eat there again.

I simply love this Pizzeria. It is unpretentious and only has a couple of tables. You can enjoy a BYO wine over a delicious and I mean super super wonderful marvelously delicious pizza. The owners chat with you and you feel as though you are in their own kitchen and I suppose in a way you are, as you are sitting only a dividing bar away from the action. Salads are generous and not much different to what you would whip up at home. All good though. This is somewhere casual not pretentious, don't come here if you want sophistication, do come if you want fantastic pizza.

Bon Gusto make great pizza, the vegetarian options in particular all combine good ingredients and really tasty. Service is fast and friendly, without the long wait or pretentiousness of other takeaway places like Crust. Pretty good value for what you get, and the bases are just the right thickness. Have ordered takeaway heaps of times and it's always been consistently good.

Just a simple pizza shop with seating for 10 or so, mainly takeaway business I'm suspecting. Nevertheless, the owners are lovely and friendly folk, the pizza's are great, garlic bread's a winner, and they accept cards and of course, BYO - try the fetta pizza!

Update - Since our initial review, this joint has become our rock-solid pizza favourite! We still love the fetta pizza, but one night we tried the 'Diavolo' and we're now hooked. A delicious combo including pepperoni, tuna, anchovies & fresh tomatoes, it's just the best! Mel & Josie make their own chilli sauce which you can request, makes a tragic like me go weak at the knees it's so good! Our kids swear by the meat lovers or the supreme, the garlic bread is still great and the Italian salad is a must. This place is the best kept secret in the Inner West.

Don't judge a book by it's cover - behind the unassuming facade is a great pizzeria. The pizza is as good as any you will find at places in Haberfield and Leichhardt, but you get none of the surly attitude. The owners, Mel & Josie ( how often to you get to find out the cook's or owner's name these days ? ), are super friendly & love to chat with you whilst they prepare their tasty treats. It's like dining at a friend's place.

This place deserves to do well - a change of decor, & this place will rate 10 out of 10. I'll certainly be back for more!
